I hope Philippines would make more BL series with the same approach as this. It's wholesomely shown to viewers their same sex love. This is the kind of BL series that should be shown to all ages. No liplocking or skinships. We don't need that if we want all markets to appreciate BL and homosexual love. That last part where they both held each other's hand is their hidden expression of kissing each other. And it's so powerful. More powerful than Ben and Jim's fake kissing scene. This series don't have the deepest storyline but definitely one of the best in storytelling. Looking forward for book 2.

Omg I feel like when Aron said "I don't want to do anything else but to stay beside you", Kian blushed. That's so cute and so real, it's like the line went through him. This deserved more love, I hope the actors get more recognition considering that they did a great job here, it feels natural and heartwarming. What I love about this BL series is their timing or pacing. Everything comes naturally hindi minadali ang storya. YONG swabe ang takbo swak na swak ang bawat eksena na walang agarang pangyayari. Ang galing din nmn kasi nitong dalawang 'to. So perfect for each other sa sobrang ganda ng chemistry nila. Love is in the air at mafefeel mo na ang sarap tlga magmahal. . . Kudos to you guys!

i'm so sad it ended this early!! in my 5 years of watching and reading BL, this one is one of the notable stories. I love the production quality. It's amazing. The setting is a breathe of fresh air from all the common urban life. The acting is good. The cinematography is 10/10! The story is also simple and fluffy, yet it was able to catch my attention because of its uniqueness. I hate watching 'lockdown' series, but Better Days changed the game. consider me a fan, keep it up!! 💜
This BL series was a true bromance story with a little romantic overtone. Let's see in season 2, if the romantic overtone surpass the bromance of the 2 characters. It would be nice 2 see what's next?

i like ending of book 1, so simple, fresh and light. it expresses simple living, simple life, simple beginning of love and friendship for two teens freshly young and beautiful inside and out. I like the aerial last shot, slowly zooming out and far away, as if they are the only descendants left in the middle of darkness and there is a flicker of hope. Great actors, great story, great cinematography, great scripts, great music, great direction and great camera works. Kudos to the cast and production staff. Thank you for sharing this simple yet beautiful bl story of youthful love and friendship and the better days ahead of their story together.

I think the friendship was very important, but the way Aron looked at Kian at the end, and the way Kian caressed Aron's fingers. I felt that. That was love.
This is BL. They did not vocally expressed their love for each other but their actions say so. Their background voices tell to the viewers what they feel for each other. Bromance series don't do that. That's what i really love about this series. It's wholesomely shown to viewers their same sex love. This is the kind of BL series that should be shown to all ages. (Kian’s promise of not leaving Aron anymore in Ep. 2 & now Aron’s promise of staying & being with Kian always). Again my POV.

But sometimes, even though it hurts, it means being happy and supportive of what the person we really love wants to do and achieve. Even if it means us supporting from a far place. Because in the end, all we want is for everybody to have BETTER DAYS.

End of a short series which, for "purists" of the genre, will not revolutionize the "world of #BL", but which, for me, is a "little jewel of sweetness" in its magnificent green setting. :-D This series succeeded, without a so-called "intimate" scene, between the 2 characters, to show us how much #Aron, loves his childhood friend, #Kian, by cherishing him through the dishes he cooks for him. "Aron" is like a "pillar", which "Kian" needs, to get through his own troubles which eventually escalate. I just wish that "Aron" does not forget his dream because his "little Kian" is almost lost, without him ! ;-D So if season 2 is here it would be nice to see them evolve together, without too much drama, but each making their dream come true, thank you ! ;-)
This series is just so beautifully warm and appealing. Thank you all to everyone involved making it. 🙏

I totally found Kian's expression the most genuine. He was too shocked to wail and cry out loud.
He acted so well.
And also Aron seemed to relate with Kian so he thought about giving him some time alone.
I love this scene. One thing i realize that whatever struggle we faces in our lives just always be strong and look forward... Because at the end of the day there's a rainbow always after the rain..!

You know what amazed me in this series. Its because how Benedix made his cooks delicious even if I haven't seen him na sya ba talaga ang nagluluto. But because of how he uses the utensils and how he handled the ingredients. It really made me inspire. And their loveteam is one of the spices that made this series a success one. Congrats Direk! ❤️🥰

I think we are getting it cause they said end of book one
if any many series deserves a second season it's this one. definitely, this is one of the ones that deserve a continuation. I just binged watched all 6 eps right in a row and bravo actors ( main leads 🥰) cast crew everyone did an amazing. Just these boy's friendship and love for each is so pure and rich that it was so touching (especially the ending) that I'm legit tearing up right now.

I'm really satisfied by how they just ended it with holding hands bc
1.) It's still too early to have a kiss with the current progression of their relationship.
2.) Kian's dad just freakin died, the context wouldn't be appropriate for them to kiss.
3.) Shows how they're really supportive of each other and would be a great foundation in which love would flourish.
4.) Signifies the start of something, and could be built upon for possible future seasons.

@Nathan Yang. I also felt that Aron should have comforted Kian in that scene. But when Aron cooked his comfort food (“ginatan bilo bilo”), I think that was his way of comforting Kian. My POV only though.

Congratulations!!!! Both aron (benedict) & kian (chester) are good in their craft (acting).. Very light, yet , d thoughts, feelings and emotions were superb... A not so extravagant BL series, yet it showcase the realness of simple living.. Such a great combination of d two actors...

I just watch this series and I got sad because not only the episodes are not that long but the series itself. I only has 6 episodes. This is just a great show and deserve more episodes. I wish they’ll add another episodes para masaya.
End of Book 1 ?! .....So does that mean their is a “Book 2” aka.season2 ?! There are Soooo Many loose ends to tie up, so I’m hoping there is a Season2.

This series have soo much potential it's a shame we didn't have enough of the story perhaps if you added addition 10 mins on every episode we could have explored more of them, but it did paved a door to their blooming relationship and the setting for a book 2, now I'm hooked. Aaron's character is really loveable though I can't say much about Kian's character for now since he does act kinda immature, but he's did slowly redeemed his spoiled rich kid personality on the end and I see that he care's for Aaron and wishes him well. I hope Book II will be soon so they can explore more on Kian's transition to maturity and Aaron finally following his dreams. It would be nice to see their setting transition from the province of Laguna to the city of Manila were they meet again amidst pursuing the professions and the dream they both want for the restaurant.

I'm probably the only one who doesn't want a 2nd season. Everything is beautiful now. But young people have a harder part ahead - life decisions.
Thanks for these series - seemingly light, supported by easy music, but deep in content.
