I disagree, I don't collect paper at all, when bills come in the mail I take them from the box and ditch them straight into the garbage, where they belong. See no paper clutter at all.
Did you make a video using the acronym SPACE? It said to decide to have a certain place for certain items. Like this is where my clothes go. This is where my papers go. I tried it and it helped do much. But I can’t find that particular video. Can you direct me to it?
I have a 12 file system. All that temp, FYI, and receipts go in the current month. Next month, throw out last year's stuff. Some things are more permanent homes, taxes, jury duty, house repars/upgrades. They have their own files. Not sure? stuff it in the current month.😊
I just found you and I am determined to make a major change. I’m so bad I scrub and clean and leave piles of paper 😢 I listened to one podcast and thought I have to find this lady on UA-cam!!! So here I am!!!! I think I need the coaching but wanted to be sure this was legitimate 😊
Thanks! Just back from a big trip and I'm home and starting to reverse cluttering. Will start with the held mail. I like the end day, week, month, ... System.
What if note taking is my paper clutter problem 😫 I have so many sticky notes, index cards and papers where I just write random stuff and it accumulates and I can’t get rid of it.
Try alphabetizing your book or article notes by title in a binder. Slip the paper notes, torn out article, or even sticky notes in plastic sleeves. Then you can easily write out or type out a table of contents so it's easy to reference.
These are absolutely great 💡 ideas. I am starting to use them. But how do you keep the digital banking? After awhile the bank asks you to pay for them. What if you file them on your computer and your computer crashes? I don't want to use the cloud because that means it's stored in some other system. How would you store them in case the computer crashes if you don't want to use the "cloud" (which is really storing it on some corporate actual huge metal computer bin somewhere in the world?)
I have found the randomness of emails reminding us to pay this or pay leading me feel overwhelmed. Any suggestions? Especially school cash payment for activities. They are not predictable , just randomly arrive in my email box. But it not coincide with the pay bill day.
Yes!, but I digitized all of it and shredded the rest! no file cabinet needed!

Try putting it all in one notebook :)

Wow you talk fast!!
Feel free to adjust the playback speed on the video to slow it down if you'd like! 😉
@katyjoywells don’t think that would help because then you can’t understand the words 😑

You could always use a flash drive, SD card or some other storage device!
