How to film your marathons and running races? This video is about running and filming your races. The best way is to use the Insta360 Go3 or Insta360 Go2 cameras while running.
Running with the Insta360 Go 3 / Go 2 cameras is easy. Both cameras are lightweight and portable. You can wear them when running by using a magnetic clip that can be attached on your running cap.
The Insta360 Go3 is the latest model. It has some new and improved features over the Insta360 Go2. However, both of them are perfect for running videos. Both cameras have good battery duration, internal storage, charging case, great video quality and amazing stabilization.
Here are the official Insta360 website links where you can find more details about the 2 cameras.
You will get a free accessory gift if you use one of them when purchasing:

    * The links takes you to the Insta360 official store, with no extra costs for you. I get a small commission but it does not affect your price. Thank you for using it !
What I like about most about using the Insta360 Go cameras when running races:
    - I can place the camera on the cap and run hands free
    - it's verry light (less then 50gr) so it doesn't bother me when running fast
    - it's waterproof so I can film when raining
    - it has a quick start button, easy to use
    - it has a great video quality and amazing stabilization for running
Enjoy this Insta360 Go 3 / Go 2 running video that I've made while racing Timisoara 21k. This half marathon was organized in the 2023 European Culture Capital city: Timisoara. It is a beautiful city located in Western Romania.

I recently upgraded to the GO2 from the GO1 that I used to film quite a few races. The quality is quite a bit better and the workflow is more convenient too since you can edit directly without having to download the footage first. Having said that I have a backlog of footage I need to edit !

thanks for the comment. Editing with the Go2 is quite easy indeed. It's a pretty impressive little camera. It's still great if you don't want to buy the new Go3. Both of them are great quality.

Thanks for the video! I just got the GO3 and want to also film my running races using the hat clip. What method are you using to film your running? It seems you can push the button when you want to record something, you can tell it to start then stop recording or you can setup intervals to take videos. What did you use for this video?

Thanks also. I've set a 30 seconds interval for filming so that i don't worry about stoping it when i race. I just press the button and that's it, after 30 sec it stops. I don't need longer duration anyway as i like to change the frames quite fast in the final edit. Hope it helps.
