It felt so satisfying to see them, tying everything from season one back to what was happening. It goes to show that the writers don’t forget everything.

I think what you are refeering to is in the UK. Most of Season 4 was filmed in the US but part of it was filmed in Europe which is why it may look familiar to you. They filmed in Lithuania for S4.
Even though a lot of people think this show is cringe and the community kind of might it worse in the end, I genuinely enjoyed watching Stranger Things and I hope that’s the same case for season 5.
