Prime example that if the upperclassmen cannot get the job done there are some hungry underclassmen that are more than capable and eager as hell to get your spot! Becoming a starter is hard enough of a fight at Alabama, but keeping that job is another fight altogether! Depth is awesome! And, one more big thing, how large is the waistline of Nick Saban? It must be at least 110 inches round. It has to be that big in order to contain all of those "GUTS". Big GUTS to bench a 2 year award winning starting QB that has only lost 2 games in his career and 2 consecutive championship appearances with a Freshman who has had ZERO starts and only mop up time on the field in out of reach games! There are few coaches, college or pro, who have the guts to make that call and stick with it! But it was the correct call because Bama has looked the same for 2 years running and GA had read their book. Saban forced to do something. Wow! Amazing game!

This is how I watch the Alabama football game I synchronize my TV with the radio broadcast. Unless the radio broadcast is Ahead of the TV broadcast then I know everything that’s going to happen before I see it.
You know I think this was one of the best title games in the last 20 years or so but some UGA fans blame their loss on the refs and I have pictures of at least 4 times they got away with pass Interference or holding ............

I have met a lot of Georgia fans where I live that were classy and accepted the loss. There defense shouldn’t haven given up those points in the second half. Kirby Smart shouldn’t have changed his offense. You can’t blame it on four blown penalties on the refs when there is a lot more that happened.
It was better. There was no performance in this game that compared to what Young did, and there were stretches in this game that were far from gripping or exciting. Bama's offense in the first half was all but nonexistent. That and a kicker missing two VERY makeable field goals, esp. the first one, is not good football.

Nah it was the number 3 seed vs the number 4 seed. In some situations I could see the seeds being flipped considering the number four faces the number one seed. If that were the case, at some points the number four seed would jump to number one and the playoff style would give home field advantage to the team who entered at a lower point. In this case the only thing it would have done is give Alabama the home jerseys. Would have been nice to see them in their red. Only won one national title in their crimson sadly.
The official ranking does not change until after the playoff. In a four playoff system it doesn't make sense to keep the seeds the same, but once the playoffs expand it will make more sense.
