Modern baseball is said to favor pitchers, with pitching dominating hitting, as various data prove. However, Shohei Ohtani’s performance seems to mock such a situation. Moreover, his prowess is increasing year by year… I believe that Shohei Ohtani, along with Aaron Judge of the “East,” represents the “ideal form” or the “ultimate weapon” of the “West” in hitting.
Dodgers play down to the competition. Don't dominate. It's their history. Win WSs as underdogs; seldom when favored. Very frustrating. When I write them off and stop caring they win.
Remember at the beginning of the season when we had that long stretch of 20 games or more of scoring at least 5 runs per game? That seems like the distant past. We also had a stretch of winning 14 of 16 games at the beginning that has somewhat hidden the fact that outside of those 16 games, we are struggling along at 33-29. Arizona is only 7 games back in the loss column and we should have buried both them and San Diego by now. Luckily, those two teams have underachieved even more than us. Hopefully, this year we will peak at the end of the season, and we'll all look back at this laugh.
its clear we need infielder and outfielder with consistent to make a good contact hit. Just force Angels to trade Ward and Rengifo give Arte what ever it is except our top 5 prospect

Hes great to come in after a high velo guy, fromer starter so can go 3 innings EZ, veteran who doesn’t need babysitting. Atleast 3 guys go before he dors

Eric Karros is much better than Nomar at commentating. Why can't Karros talk about pitching? He's a former MLB player! I actually prefer Karros/Nelson over Hersheiser/Davis.
