If they were so concerned about $ why were they paying that idiot hatchet man Hunter Harrison so much?
@@bwallace5945 all though I might have a possibility that after CN lost the bid between KCS and CP, CN is scrapping the older model Dash 8's to make newer models because these dash 8's these were made like what... 1989? Something like that? but when these locomotives get scraped they bring the money to GE (General Electric co.) and GE will make newer Dash 8 models, just like how they made newer ES44AC / DC locomotives, and they will still have all their sweet sweet sounding new horns...
I'm not saying that this will acualy happen, but it might some point in the future...
Idk, This is just a theory, A RAIL THEORY!
You do realize that cn made a 700 million dollar profit from losing that bid, right? CN scrapping these has nothing to do with KCS. Seriously, where do you guys come up with this garbage?
@@bwallace5945 CN made 700 million profit for losing that bid.
Does the guy know how rare these are lol 😂
You should disclose the Location so others can go see before these Locos are Shredded for scrap
What a stupid comment. These guys are trespassing.
Strange that they would scrap all those locomotoves. Why don't they just keep using them? They look fine to me.
Worn out and not worth rebuilding.
Isn't this trespassing? Asking for a friend.
Yes. That's usually what I do lol
@@NiagaraExplorers OK, just checking.
"Asking for a friend"
