Are you aware you can change "Box Select" to "Tweak" in edit mode to simply drag each control point? One less click for every single adjustment.
Great tutorial. Thank You.
1. No point to enable move tool if you need gizmo. There is gizmo option for selection (gizmo menu)
2. No point to use box-tool, when you have tweak tool. Just press and move. Less clicks, no aiming to gizmo.
3. No point to hold mouse button continuously, when you drag. Just disable «release confirms» (props→input→mouse)
Also you can do Ctrl+RClick to create new points or make hotkey for subdivide operator.
Workflow with subdivs may be faster: create main shape, subdivide where you need more details, dissolve unnecessary.
1 it's hidden and cumbersome to switch so best to use shortcuts like the standard W.E.R
2 the drag options are not avaliabe to tweak tool so you have to switch to another tool to active it
3 that's like more extra clicks then it's needed which would slow things down...why Blender users always complicate things and do things in a weird ways?
@@xox8717 The thing is it's not weird. It's maximum efficient. I know it's hard to understand right away if you come from a slow rusty software. Just give it a try.
@@YegorSmirnov having all your transform hotkeys in one convenient strip is "slow rusty software?" I suppose you might think so if you need specific letters on the keys to be able to remember them.
See, I can make passive aggressive comments whining about other people's preferences in a 3D application too
@@xox8717 "why Blender users always complicate things and do things in a weird ways?"
Well because Blender is a bit of a mess and sometimes you have to do things in seemingly convoluted ways to make it work as intended. It's a jack of all trades kind of package, but a master of very few.
Great stuff! Where can I find the same reference picture please? What style is it? Baroque, bizantine etc...? Thanks
Wow amazing 😍
Im aware that you can use ALT S to scale the geometry, but is there a way to twist the geometry?
but its not a game ready model How we turns a low poly ? any idea ?
How adons use for curve to mash?
Innovative😮🎉🎉🎉
Nice job
Now I’m wondering if there is a way to add multiple shapes to a single curve so that it transitions from say a diamond to a star shape
In case you haven’t figured it out yet, yes. You can loft between two different curve profiles, and create an appropriate mesh between them.

THIS IS NOT A TUTORIAL, ITS A TIMELAPSE

this is neat to watch but it is not a tutorial since the video is way too fast to learn anything. If you want to learn people that mean slow way down and explain not everyone knows what you are doing
at first its difficult to "read" the timelapses, but trust me, at long term, you will become able to extract so much useful info from them. It helps me in see the tecnique the artist is using or the workflow he follows, those kind of things.Hope it helps. Cheers
Oooh, I like this method so much more. I find the profile method super limiting.
Selecting every single vertex with box selection to tweak it with gizmo.
Perfect.
Each have their own habits and methods.
