Lol I was thinking the same.
I think that cable just allows you to control the rgb from your PC with software (since it's connected to the mb). Without the cable connected, it would still glow the default color.

Your 24pin & Gpu 8pin extensions are nice and straight, idk if you had to train/bend them like that but it came out real clean my man. Having straightly combed extensions can really make you build pop.

I have a pc that I built myself with only $1500-1600 and it has r5 5600x, asrock b550m pro4, 16gb ram dual channel at 3600MHz CL17 and msi ventus rtx 2060 super gp oc and I bought the parts before this shortage, but I also need a decent laptop for portability

I'm thinking about a nitro 5 with r5 4600h, 16gb ram, gtx 1650 ti and 144Hz display, I just want it to be fast, not really for gaming at higher settings and I'll add another 480/500/512gb nvme ssd because the included one only has 512gb

If you want to get rid of the RGB lighting in the gpu, just unplug the big cable on the right of it.

To control RGB for GPU you’ll need to download the new MSI Center instead of the one you had in the video, once done mystic light is a plug-in for it! Had to do the same thing and it then started picking up the gpu

Not a boomer, but I had a build once that required hot-swappable drive bays. 5.25" bays come in handy for that with those Icy Dock adapters.
