Wrong information given by mechanic, Ball joint is available in market separately. No need to replace whole arm. Ye mechanic wrong number hai.

The frt shockers for diesel & petrol engines are the same for old model like 2010 ? Pls tell me , I changed the frt strut assembly in my dezire 2010 diesel but after changing the shock absorbers its worse then before.
My front suspension had become stiff...one mechanic said the entire suspension assembly needed to be changed which would cost around 10k-12k...then I went to another mechanic who said only the bushes and suspension rod needed to be changed...the work was done at half the price...the entire job was completed for just 5000rs...no need to change the whole suspension assembly...I had brought parts from Maruti genuine parts.
मेरे पास Dezire 2013 vxi hai our front suspentiom hard ho gaye hai. Breker se jab gaadi chalati hai to hard mahasus hota hai. Suspention kya repair nahi hote?
You can fix those with less than one third price if replace only ball and rubber bushes. This mechanic does have good knowledge regarding this. Thanks

I have replaced front strut and rear shocker, car running unstable, changed left arm, both link, bar bush, both mount. It drives smoothly on highway but on rough road bump feels bouncy. What's reason?
Bounce while drive can be due to over inflation of tyres. I had this too and found that hawa wala filled it to 42 instead of 32.
After rite air pressure, issue resolved. Check tyre pressure
Air check kijiyae....too much air could result in bumpy ride

arm(chimti ) me sirf bush, ball join , change karne se vi hota hai lekin ..mistri pura chage karne ko bol te hay.
Bhai Jo feel suspension change krne ke baad aata h wo sirf bushing se nhi aata. Suspension change hone ke baad ekdum smooth and new feel hota hai jo only bushing se nhi hota. Bushing only metal noise khtam krne ke liye hoti hai.

I am having swift vxi 2013 model. I was also having front suspension problem so my mechanic suggested me to change arm set and ball socket and engine mounting but not shockers .after changing, there was 70 percent improvement in suspension , but not that comfortable that it used to be .
Plz suggest me that , should i go for shockers replacement ?
And plz share your experience of ride quality after u changed your suspension , armset and ball socket .

Sandeepan, you're exactly in the situation where I've been thinking for months because it was approx 9k of expense. I can blindly suggest you to get front shockers replaced because arm set, ball socket and engine mount may reduce the nick-nack and sounds, but actual comfort and smooth ride will be added by brand new shockers.
Lastly, don't take shockers from local shops, they will try convince you that it's same brand Delphi or Munroe, it's true they are the Maruti shocker manufacturers, but Genuine Maruti Swift shockers are specially designed under Maruti's supervision, so will offer 2 times better results. Price difference won't even buy us a small pizza, so go for MGP Shockers only.
All the best with MGP shocker replacement, no second thought and I'm aure you love your car since it's 2013, just like mine.

Diesel and Petrol front suspension are having different part numbers are are totally different. Though they look similar and can fix similarly, but diesel shockers are expensive and are heavy built.
1750/- per shocker for diesel and 1380/- per shocker for Petrol for front shockers.
