You have to love how eccentric and magical this show was. It’s always funny to see Lisa sporting an endless supply of gowns, makeup and hair in the country. :). Love this show.
Oliver was always working out in the fields on that tractor wearing his vest and tie. Eva and Eddie were perfectly cast for this program and really played off each other well. Eb always understands Lisa's creations and expressions. He was never surprised by what Lisa said while at the same time Oliver is totally confused. Really funny. For those who do not know it, Eddie Albert was a true American hero during WWII. He was awarded the Bronze Star (with V device) for saving the lives of scores of Marines in the waters off the beach of the island of Tarawa in the Pacific.
First saw this episode on Maui. Trade winds stopped and there was was no air conditioning. REALLY nothing else to do without getting a Heart Attack. Mid-life marriage. What can I say? Hotskebabs. I NEED this recipe after 38 years...Eb and Lisa and “Olivah! What a team! All gone now 🥺.
I wonder how many guys out there would marry a woman like Lisa for her Beauty knowing you would never have a decent cooked meal again and knowing she would never learn.
Back in the 80s as a kid, I remember we got I dream of Jeanie, Bewitched, The Adams Family, Mr Ed, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Munsters, but I never remember we ever got Green Acres. Seems like a shame we missed out.
In shots of the left side it had a battery on it, but that may have just been for the ignition. That tractor is actually a Fordson Model F, which as far as I know never had electric start. But when they were in good shape, it was possible to turn the engine to the right spot with the crank, then turn on the ignition and they would start on their own.
Hotskebabs? Yuck! They were just yucky! I wouldn't eat them either! But that was Eva Gabor for you. She didn't know how to cook on the show as well in real life.
By far one of the best tv shows
I'm getting addicted to these Green Acres clips...
same here!
Me to
@Bold One calm all the way down. We are in a golden age of television and there's something for everyone. Try Disney +

"Ohh,, that's ridiculous! A tractor running by itself!"
"So are hots-kabobs. But there they are!" 😄😄😄😄!!

I literally adore this show although i am french, and it didn’t run very long at french TV in 80’s. Eddy Albert was fantastic ✨✨✨
I love this show! Wish I would of known about this show years ago. It’s hilarious 😂
What cracks me up is as nasty as Lisa's food is, Eb says "This tastes just like mom's".
Eb is one of the few that enjoy's Lisa's cooking for the most part. Though some episodes had his scared like everyone else..
Eb also liked Lisa's hot water soup and uncooked spaghetti.
and fried oatmeal
and a seven layer cake made with 7hotcakes, chocolate syrup, shaving cream, and a wax cherry!
Had such a crush on Eva Gabor. She’s gorgeous 🍷
Eva was the idol of my youth. And she still is today; 25 years after she went off to TV Heaven.
RIP Tom Lester
"Lisa, you put that to music...you might have a hit!" LOL

love watching green acres lol
this show had some crazy shit in it, didn't it? Oliver for sure didn't marry her for her cooking.
From the episode His Honor; originally aired on January 11, 1967.
She foresaw Hot Pockets. She was an amazing seer of 1970s culture!
Just found this. Thanks! Love green Acres!🚜
Lisa's cooking wasn't any better than Oliver's farming
Perfect distraction (medicine) for these days unsurity! Music and laughter are as close as any "panacea" can be! 10-Q & Pax to you! Stay safe

You could always divorce her after the fun wore off
Wow kazowee! A Hoyt-Clagwell chugger! Spent a long time on one! On the farm and a bit later as my main machine as a "greenskeeper", hokey-smokes! Pax

Love green Acres
It's funny how Lisa fits in with the eccentricities of Hooterville when she is the one who didn't want to move there.
Eb is scared of a tractor, kinda funny!!!
And let's not forget onions hotscakes. Hotscakes batter with uncooked sausage links mixed in.
If you slice the sausage, that would work.
Sorry. I meant sludgy coffee with cream in it.
Wish show in full show. One funny film clip thank you
Love it
"Funny episode, hotcakes came in handles!"
😂😂😂 too awesome
Reminds me of the joke about Raquel Welch and the Pope out in the ocean in a life boat, she says, "yada, yada, yada, those aren't hot kabobs!"
I meant slushy coffee and cream in it.
So freaking funny!!!
wish i had a pink fridge cool
Eva Gabor . Don't make em like her anymore son
Hot cakes 100 ways with. Only Lisa . Can make it.
The Hoyt Clagwell tractor had an electric starter? Eb is starting her from the seat at 0:08

Eva was a hotty!
Have they actually ever sat down and ATE her cooking?!!
Lmao @ Bobs hotskabobs stand!
Hotskebabs? Yuck! They were just yucky! I wouldn't eat them either! But that was Eva Gabor for you. She didn't know how to cook on the show as well in real life.
Every time she tried to her man would just fuck her on the kitchen table and then pass out... She would then call out for a meal!
FUNNY 😂
Hilarious!!
I just don't believe it!
EB.
