It already did affect meaningful change, several companies have already reversed denial policies specifically in response to requests from other CEOs who are concerned for their own safety. Americans have been conditioned not to use violence to resist violence but all of our current "rights" were obtained through violent resistance, the 40 hour work week, worker safety laws, child labor laws, etc etc were all won after years of literal war with property owners who sicked the police on workers trying to protest "the right way." We are literally in a country with a wider wealth gap than France during their revolution and they were guillotining people, a single CEO is pretty tame in comparison. Ethan is dead wrong that positive change only comes from legislation, it's the other way around, legislation has historically come almost exclusively after violent resistance, the US included.

If someone is being denied coverage for insulin for example, where they can die within hours of running out and the price in the US is exorbitantly high for no reason, every single day of those temporary freezes on denials could be saving lives. It's crazy that in the US someone can knowingly kill thousands of people with a pen in an office, but if someone kills that person signing the papers, it's wrong and condemned. Of course it would be great if people didn't have to resort to violence, but the oppressors are to blame for that, not their victims. It becomes about self defense eventually, when the people in control of the healthcare system are actively killing people/letting them die by denying them access to care for curable ailments. And those people in control include the legislators themselves, they are just as corrupt, so I totally disagree with Ethan that it's the only solution. Short of a mass exodus from the US in protest/to remove our taxes and labor from the country, I don't know what else people are expected to do, the rest of the developed world has had universal healthcare for decades. It's mind boggling.

We're pretty clearly past any role playing scenario if people are willing to commit murder. It's just as easy for you to say he should have done it differently, but how long are people expected to wait while they and their loved ones are sick and dying and our healthcare is getting worse instead of better? How will legislation compensate all the people who die needlessly from curable ailments if they "do it the right way" and wait years, decades? This is a basic responsibility of any society to look after their citizens and it's been denied for generations, it's a humanitarian crime whether Americans are ready to accept it or not.

I bought a bunch of Teddy Fresh a few years back and it was my way to give back. Now I've been a member for almost a year as the financial situation changed and I can afford to throw money away on things that make me feel happy like a 1200$ computer case or an h3 subscription. From a fan since 2017 that always had 0-200$ in their account then, don't milk the people.
ethan talking about wanting to get the kids together and thinking of different things he wants them to do together genuinely made me cry. as someone who had TONS of cousins, who were my best friends, i could never imagine our family keeping us apart. as always i hope endlessly that the kids can have a normal relationships one day, even if their parents can’t.

Regarding the United Healthcare CEO, I don't think Ethan's characterization of him as "another cog in the system" is fair. He was CEO for Pete's sake. Another cog in the system is the receptionist at some random United Healthcare office. The system needs major change and the CEO of such a huge proponent of the system is capable of making that change, at the very least within their own organization. Yeah he will probably be replaced by "another cog" that will do the same as him, but CEO has so much power that's not 100% guaranteed. Replacing a receptionist for example obviously 100% guarantees no change.
Yes and no. I think it should give all excutives pause that the whole country pretty much supports his killing in broad daylight. However, the CEO is beholden to the shareholders. So while yes, he could enact change in the company, if it affected the payout to the sharholders, they would just vote him out and replace him with someone else. Thats why we have so much corporate greed, its not that only greedy people make it to the top, its that the entire corporate system in america is designed to promote greed. The supreme court made sure of that. The entire point of a company, according to SCOTUS, is to generate money for shareholders. So they control public companies, the c-suite is beholden to them. Delusional comments already starting… from what I’ve watched, Ethan hasn’t said anything nasty about the SNL situation. He even said he wanted to watch it on the show, but NBC will block it. He also said he wishes people would stop bringing up the arm thing because it’s taking away from Trisha’s accomplishment, which is very true. I started as a Trisha fan, had been watching since stripper diaries and found H3 through Frenemies. I’ve stayed even after the fallout because I felt Trisha was unreasonable. Both of them have been extremely shady since then, but this is not one of those moments. It doesn’t feel like he hates her, just that he’s done with the relationship. I think he truly wishes Trisha well and he’s happy to eat his words about this situation, maybe even proud of her.

A defaced gun is a firearm that has had its factory serial number removed. So you might wonder "how can a gun not have a serial number and not be defaced?" The answer is simple: it was manufactured legally without a serial number. How can a gun be manufactured legally without a serial number? It is perfectly legal to manufacture your own firearms for your own use (according to federal law, with some exceptions). When you manufacture a gun for yourself, you don't need a serial number. The laws regarding serial numbers only apply to SALE of firearms, and the laws for defacing a serial number only apply to removing a factory applied serial number. This is why CA politicians created the term "ghost gun" and started a red panic about it years ago. The actual industry term is "craft made guns", which is simply any firearm made not as a part of a large production. This could be a slam fire pipe shotgun or it could be a CNC milled AR-15 made from a black of aluminum. And it also covers 3D printed firearms. To be clear, it has always been legal to manufacture your own firearms, by any means. By cutting away metal like CNC or by printing material like 3D printing. Most people just don't do it because it can be dangerous and a huge waste of time. All that said, just possession of a 3D printed firearm doesn't mean anything, legal or intent. You can buy factory made 3D printed rifles (which will have a serial number). You can print your own. There is a huge community of people that make their own rifles or pistols. So long as you don't violate existing firearm laws like NFA, there is nothing wrong or particularly scary about that. In fact, if you are scared about firearms, then you should feel better about people using 3D printed ones because they suck major ass. Even the best running printed guns take a LOT of fiddle fucking to get reliable. Its much easier to just spend the 300 bucks and get a Hi-Point (basically the cheapest gun you can get). And as far as the suppressor goes, the legality of owning one or buying one changes state to state (or even city to city). In general though, you just have to pay a $200 tax stamp and then you can buy one. you need one stamp per can. There is nothing crazy or difficult about getting one. And i could be wrong, but you need a stamp to manufacture a can too. They are VERY easy to make, and the ATF is all over arresting people who make their own (even if they don't try to sell them). @@alexanderorr2528 there are dozens of us! i kind of doubt he used a printed mag because i've read they are so terrible. the best guess i've seen is that he bought as many off the shelf mailable parts he could and then printed the frame, which is what most glock-style DIY kits are. even in craft made guns from throughout history, the makers end up using off the shelf mags because mags are annoying to get right and they are often cheap and uncontrolled parts. i forget that some places just outright ban all NFA stuff and don't even allow legally transferred machine guns. its not lost on me that one of the most restrictive gun cities in the country, NYC, had such a brazen murder with a craft made gun that didn't even function well. you know i recently went around and looked at the wholesale price of all rounds, and i almost shit my pants at the cost of 5.7 lol. as cool as it is, and the secret service used it for a reason, its just too damn expensive. i don't even want to shoot 9mm right now because its so bad. at least .22LR seems to be not too insane. i anticipate a future where .22LR is the only caliber that will be legally allowed in the US, which is something other countries have done. but for now i grow my collection!
Just coming on here to say that I have tons of first cousins all living within 30 minutes of each other and they're basically strangers to me and it's all good! I'm 31 and never had a relationship with them other than getting together for the standard family holidays, which now doesn't even happen that we're old grown up.

Of course it would be great if people didn't have to resort to violence, but the oppressors are to blame for that, not their victims. It becomes about self defense eventually, when the people in control of the healthcare system are actively killing people/letting them die by denying them access to care for curable ailments. Short of a mass exodus from the US in protest/to remove our taxes and labor from the country, I don't know what else people are expected to do, the rest of the developed world has had universal healthcare for decades. We're pretty clearly past any role playing scenario if people are willing to commit murder. It's just as easy for you to say he should have done it differently, but how long are people expected to wait while they and their loved ones are sick and dying and our healthcare is getting worse instead of better? How will legislation compensate all the people who die needlessly from curable ailments if they "do it the right way" and wait years, decades? This is a basic responsibility of any society to look after their citizens and it's been denied for generations, it's a humanitarian crime whether Americans are ready to accept it or not.

Delusional comments already starting… from what I’ve watched, Ethan hasn’t said anything nasty about the SNL situation. He even said he wanted to watch it on the show, but NBC will block it. He also said he wishes people would stop bringing up the arm thing because it’s taking away from Trisha’s accomplishment, which is very true.
I started as a Trisha fan, had been watching since stripper diaries and found H3 through Frenemies. I’ve stayed even after the fallout because I felt Trisha was unreasonable. Both of them have been extremely shady since then, but this is not one of those moments. It doesn’t feel like he hates her, just that he’s done with the relationship. I think he truly wishes Trisha well and he’s happy to eat his words about this situation, maybe even proud of her.

3:00:35 just to shed some light on terminology, the term "ghost gun" is a purely political term that is not used in the firearms industry in any way. in politics, its used to refer to any firearm that doesn't have a serial number legally. this is NOT to be confused with a "defaced gun" (which IS a real industry term). A defaced gun is a firearm that has had its factory serial number removed. So you might wonder "how can a gun not have a serial number and not be defaced?" The answer is simple: it was manufactured legally without a serial number. How can a gun be manufactured legally without a serial number? It is perfectly legal to manufacture your own firearms for your own use (according to federal law, with some exceptions). When you manufacture a gun for yourself, you don't need a serial number. The laws regarding serial numbers only apply to SALE of firearms, and the laws for defacing a serial number only apply to removing a factory applied serial number. This is why CA politicians created the term "ghost gun" and started a red panic about it years ago. The actual industry term is "craft made guns", which is simply any firearm made not as a part of a large production. This could be a slam fire pipe shotgun or it could be a CNC milled AR-15 made from a black of aluminum. And it also covers 3D printed firearms.
To be clear, it has always been legal to manufacture your own firearms, by any means. By cutting away metal like CNC or by printing material like 3D printing. Most people just don't do it because it can be dangerous and a huge waste of time.
All that said, just possession of a 3D printed firearm doesn't mean anything, legal or intent. You can buy factory made 3D printed rifles (which will have a serial number). You can print your own. There is a huge community of people that make their own rifles or pistols. So long as you don't violate existing firearm laws like NFA, there is nothing wrong or particularly scary about that. In fact, if you are scared about firearms, then you should feel better about people using 3D printed ones because they suck major ass. Even the best running printed guns take a LOT of fiddle fucking to get reliable. Its much easier to just spend the 300 bucks and get a Hi-Point (basically the cheapest gun you can get).
And as far as the suppressor goes, the legality of owning one or buying one changes state to state (or even city to city). In general though, you just have to pay a $200 tax stamp and then you can buy one. you need one stamp per can. There is nothing crazy or difficult about getting one. And i could be wrong, but you need a stamp to manufacture a can too. They are VERY easy to make, and the ATF is all over arresting people who make their own (even if they don't try to sell them). I'm not arguing for or against anything here, just trying to give some information

We also have mag cap limits of 10 rounds I believe NY is the same.
I recently picked up one of those Ruger 5.7s and I’ve been enjoying the hell out of it, such a nice little round.
@@alexanderorr2528 there are dozens of us! i kind of doubt he used a printed mag because i've read they are so terrible. the best guess i've seen is that he bought as many off the shelf mailable parts he could and then printed the frame, which is what most glock-style DIY kits are. even in craft made guns from throughout history, the makers end up using off the shelf mags because mags are annoying to get right and they are often cheap and uncontrolled parts.
i forget that some places just outright ban all NFA stuff and don't even allow legally transferred machine guns. its not lost on me that one of the most restrictive gun cities in the country, NYC, had such a brazen murder with a craft made gun that didn't even function well.
you know i recently went around and looked at the wholesale price of all rounds, and i almost shit my pants at the cost of 5.7 lol. as cool as it is, and the secret service used it for a reason, its just too damn expensive. i don't even want to shoot 9mm right now because its so bad. at least .22LR seems to be not too insane. i anticipate a future where .22LR is the only caliber that will be legally allowed in the US, which is something other countries have done. but for now i grow my collection!

Just coming on here to say that I have tons of first cousins all living within 30 minutes of each other and they're basically strangers to me and it's all good! I'm 31 and never had a relationship with them other than getting together for the standard family holidays, which now doesn't even happen that we're old grown up.
