  • In the second video we will continue the comparison of the Flash 2 and Flash G anchor hooks when attaching to a substantial object as well as using the Hooks as a descent control devices for performing the "Byrne Technique"

    Very cool bit of kit and so versatile. The best part, you can tell you're a professional and have been doing this for a long long time. No video cuts just smooth single take straight through. You'd have been an excellent asset on the fireground and great to learn from. Thanks Dale.

    Crossloading the carabiners makes my eye twitch. Good review of the hooks though.

    I'm just getting into this gear. Which is proffered? Nice wanna lean towards the webbing

      Kevlar webbing is stronger and more resilent compared to Kevlar rope - For example a section of 7.5mm Kevlar rope might have a breaking strength around 5,000lbs while CMCs escape webbing that comes with there LEVR system is around 6,100lbs and holds up much better than it's rope counterpart - Especially after repeated use. The CMC LEVR is arguably one of the best systems currently on the market and my personal favorite. If you can afford it, you won't be disappointed!!

    Do you carry anything additional for victim removal in your pockets?

      I carry 2 lengths of webbing that have numerous applications, including victim rescue. I have a 5.5 foot and 9 foot webbing loop that I store in my left pants pocket.

    What size rope can fit into the hole on the bottom of the flash.2

      The captive eye at the base of the hook is 12.5mm in diameter - Just under a 1/2 inch

      @@vizionxreconz3387 The Flash G has CMCs escape webbing, which is 11mm - The Flash 2 has 7.5mm Sterling FireTech 32 rope
