Hi Ausi Bohlale, I’ve been offered my dream job but they matched my current salary. I want to negotiate a better salary but don’t want to end up losing the opportunity. Would you advise taking the offer or trying to negotiate.
Wow i wish i saw this video MONTHS ago. I think with COVID i became so reluctant to negotiate. What is worse is that i studied law and still not even doing legal work

Well, if you can justify why you should be on the highest range, then that’s not a problem at all! If asked why you should be paid at that level, then you need to be able to say why, by justifying through your experience, skills, education etc
I'm currently caught between a rock and a very hard place, I got an offer for a job that is paying substantially lower than my previous job, I need to reply the offer email and I'm just scared that me voicing out how unhappy i am might make me lose the job🥺
