If there is one semi-decent person in that group chat they need to speak up about this kind of disgusting predatory shit. Friends educate friends, we become smarter and more respectful when we keep each other accountable

The main issue is that our community being considered so non-toxic and safe has been both a cause and a consequence for disgusting behaviors to go pretty much unpunished. The issue is not easily solvable because of this duality, but each of us needs to stand up for the victims regardless

It's simple but great idea when you think about it, because depending on the country there are different laws regarding SA allegations, and our community being so international it only makes sense to establish some common international rules and course of action that all major beatbox organizations would agree on and apply.
I have the feeling that beatboxers who arent so good get ignored by professional beatboxers. They only interact with you if your name is known in the scene. And i feel bad for that.

I believe privatising videos is the first step. Then if proven guilty by court, permanent deletion of videos. Beatbox live event should have a security measure as the same as any concert event does. (Black list, SOS hotline, etc.) Security guards placed where artists can contact with audiences can be pretty effective. As for online, I don’t know much so I hope someone can come up with good ideas. Just rambled my thoughts. Hope it helps someone who’s reading this.
Yeah man, oft people lack the maturity, seriousness and responsibility to deal with high stress situations and issues.THE blacklist idea and security posters + mindful host warnings are a great idea so props to Hershe. Kids/teenagers will typically recede into humor because they are unable to process complex emotions. (Im a psychologist in training). Another common result is for people to support the accused/suspect, as another example of the defense of humor to cruelty and the inability to let go of aspirations previously embedded in that persons character. This happens as well when people are unable to empathize with the victims, because putting yourself in that situation, as if it had happened to you is not fun. Even people who go to Toms channel and start harrassing him are doing no good for their own mental-emotional state. The only way to proceed is to stay cool, and write condolensces for the victims and try to stay updated on the results of this aftermath. Continue to embrace in solace, stand against these perpetrators and these crimes, in spirit. Support the people who speak out and have to implement the changes.

i was this year's GBB with my GF and her 3 female friends. All of them very fit and attractive. None of them were harrased everyone was friendly, and we had the time of our lives but I was trying to stay alert whole time cuz of vast amount of people around. I highly recommend going there. Really

This is what happened : at this year's GBB, a lot of women got drugged and raeped. I've heard there's at least 10 victims. And it's nothing new, women and lgtbq beatboxers have been harassed for a long time now. Tomazacre aka the person in question, has separate raepe allegations on him and is most likely unrelated to the situation at this GBB. There's a lot of big names involved in the situation at this GBB, and SBX are waiting for the right opportunity to bring the sexual assault lawsuits to light. You'll be absolutely shocked when you find out who the men involved are. A friend of mine who has close ties with SBX divulged some of the big names involved. And when they're names come out, it's gonna cause a huge rift in the community
GBB was full of r*pe sexual harassment and abuse. Tomazacre was one of the allegated people. Hes not the only one. theres many more and we NEED to work on this.
a certain artist at gbb sexually assaulted someone, and its a big problem cause he never should have been there. he was banned from multiple bbx event in different countries because he did it there. sbx had no security measures put in place at all, it was just not safe at all.

Strike the channels that r uploading sbx's vids.......that's all In terms of sexual crimes at gbb, i think alcohal should also be illegal especially for the participants, because they usually stay for a week at gbb.....& that (alcohal, whiskey, or anything that makes drunk) leads to harrasments probably
That makes no sense. No amount of alcohol causes normal people to become rapists, these things are caused by far more serious underlying issues. Some people are just sick fucks, and it's up to the rest of us to make sure they don't get the chances that they do.
