4:20. if you play against a sage and you plant the spike like you did, she can wall and blocks the molly. The best thing to do, is to plant on the edge of the rope, so that if she walls it, the spike breaks the wall, and the molly can land there.
Yep, but I wasn't vsing a sage. Also, if you plant at the rope which isn't too bad, it's harder to see the spike from mid and you'll be exposed to a larger angle

13:40 this is a really dumb part of the default plant for A site on Bind- there's this little wire or metal tube on the edge of the tank, and if your molly hits it dead on it'll go flying in a random direction😂 15:04 happy to let you know that pearl is coming back! icebox and lotus are gone in October & pearl and split come back. would like to see fracture though.
i would also LOOOOVE to have Fracture and Pearl back on the rotation. Ascent is long overdue for a change, but i feel as though the map serves well in terms of fairness in comp, so letting it rest OUT of the rotation will be just right. I completely understand why they don't just straight up change maps just as a way to keep the game fresh. Competitive shooter game maps can be even more important to balance than the characters themselves, especially in games like Counter Strike where there are no characters. Slow paced shooters NEED balanced maps, and changing them constantly can completely destroy the balance because it's quite the challenge to make a proper map in the first place, let alone change it multiple times. I think the Sunset changes are done mainly for balancing reasons (Cypher's tripwires), so I think it's fine that they don't change the maps all the time, but I do agree that the game can feel stale - so the only way to make it more fun is to release new maps, or reduce the map pool for ranked so that when the map pool changes, it feels like a new experience.
@brimsensei I'd imagine that most map changes are for balancing purposes or QoL updates, since it takes so much time to balance out every corner, every angle and so on. I still think Icebox needs a rework though, I've hated that map from day 1.

since you asked here is my two cents, bring replication back, it was very nice way to learn stuff with strangers, teammates, friends, be transparent on what action was taken or why action was not taekn when reporting someone, there is no way to track all the reports we do in game, ban players permanently when being reported and foudn guilty , bring cutom maps and community made maps, more customization in custom games, many are asking for a replay system I will honestly say I am not one of them but yes just liek you refuse to play unrated I refuse to play ranked because it is very toxic so yeah moderate the community just liek they moderate LOL games and i love korean servers for that . they earned respect for that but then they leave other servers unmoderated. stop making skins fix game ui issues there are a lot of them, they did not even think of imrpoving gaem but they think of improving money flow so yeah player's expereince in game or their mental health is just not a concern for them as they autoclose tickets raised ( complaints in help section) . TLDR change their attitude. BUT THEN I AM JUST A NOBODY so might be nobody is listening or reading. TLDR : Anway thanks for asking this was my rant all about feedback on rito games not fixing stuff but making skins and trying to dig gold. have a good one ahead!
I am of the opinion that Ascent needs some changes. The map doesn’t feel unbalanced, but the top level of the game uses the same team comp like 80-90% of the time. The Lotus changes were exciting, and provided some interesting fixes to irritating quirks of the sites. I’d love to see something like this done for Icebox, if/when they take it out of rotation. Fracture is not my map. I get that you’re meant to aggressively take space on defense but the angles are almost all weird to fight. I don’t think it needs a rework but I would not be upset if it stayed out of the Ranked map pool lol

In regards to the final thoughts I feel like Ascent is the best balanced map both in competitive and ranked alike so Riot has no need for changes in the map (I know it makes the map feel stale but knowing how Riot does things is better to not mess if the thing is not broken).. Talking about Pearl I have good knews for you Sensei, it'll be back in the next map rotation from what the dev patches revealed so we'll have another opportunity to complain about the map again.. And lastly but not less important, I think that Fracture is "unbalanceable" in the current state of the game and Riot really don't know what to do with the map, Fracture has absolutely crazy fast rotation timings (specially on the defender side) and with this Neon meta we have now it would be total chaos both in competitive and ranked to deal with Neon players and 2 initiators for them and Riot is very sttuborn when it comes to completely remake something and give up on it's gimmick so I think Fracture will be on this purgatory for a lot longer than it's already been
I mean you make a good point about the Neon meta it would really just be too op on Fracture in terms of rotations but also aggressiveness. I don't think Ascent needs to be changed too much but really I would like it out of rotation since it never has been. Otherwise, I'm all for all maps in but they would never do that due to the pro scene.

You can't do that. Riot made a change about a year ago where they change it to the arrow permanently.
