I studied in Cotonou, 2018-2021. Benin Republic is such a slow paced, quite and peaceful place. I love it there. I'm currently serving my Fatherland, Nigeria and I hope to go back to base in Cotonou. Sonia, I need your opinion on the kind of business that would really thrive there. I'm looking into food business, like Nigerian snacks and yoghurt.(I make pastries). But as you know, there are soooo many food businesses/restaurants in Benin Republic, Cotonou in particular. I'll really appreciate your ideas and insight. Thank you!
@@joyadjovii would advice you to open a Nigerian restaurant in Benin republic. There is no Nigeria local food in Benin and there are lot of Nigerians in Benin.
Hi, thank you for watching! ok, in the meantime, on my Cotonou living vlogs, I always upload places you could visit while in Cotonou, check them out. as for places to stay chat me up on my instagram and I could help you with an airbnb or hotel depending on your budget❤
It's not that Benin is expensive. The fact is that Naira has lost almost 3.5 times its value compare to CFA. In 2015 i went to Lagos and i changed 10 000 CFA for 3500 Naira. Right NOW 1000 Nairavapproximatively equals 900 CFA.
Here in Abuja katampe extension even in lugbe there'are also such nasty houses so it's not only in Bénin Républic
oh wow really? I didn't know.
This is a very informative video!
Thank you!
