My favourite legends game memory (although I don't remember what year this was) was when they had a heart rate monitor on straughnie, and as the team were marvelling at the technology his heart rate suddenly started skyrocketing. He then collapsed on the field and the medics have come out and started shoving hotdogs down his throat to revive him. Got up and played out the rest of the game. What a champion.

Game's been soulless ever since they started rigging the games to be close. Then they started making them absurdly high. Then they did whatever the hell it was at AAMI Park.
It’s because of moments like this 3:40. People want to see a real fair footy match. There’s too much goofing around and it also turns me off from watching it.

i've got a feeling that rather it being scripted, it's more like the players will put the foot off the pedal to give the other team a shot, pretty hard to script a football match
