    About breathing meditation practice:
    Breathing (pranayama) and meditation (dhyana) are in fact inseparable. The techniques of breathing from the stomach or other deep-breathing methods (such as alternating nostrils by closing one with your finger) in yoga can prevent and provide relief for respiratory tract discomfort, and they can also slow down a racing mind, release accumulated pressure, offer healing to a depression-laden heart, and provide comfort for those dealing with slated illnesses resulting from major psychological injury, allowing the practitioner to be better able to focus on the present.
