Man you should make a slow tutorial, like not a time lapse. It would really help other artists as most of us don't have a command over tools and shortcuts. Really amazing artwork btw!

I love watching your process, especially how you adapt things as you move further into a project. And the bits about making the 3D objects less generic and the whole thing more painterly were great! Love your work! It sits half way between photo compositing and digital art. For me it's the perfect way to learn. I have photoshop skills, but can't draw. So learning this style is a perfect introduction to digital drawing whilst creating great images.

This is cool, I like how you’ve combined photos with a paint-look. This could honestly become the next big Photoshop thing.
I like how simple and intuitive this method is. You might not aspire or invest into becoming a great drawer, but with this you can still make the images in your head reality with just a little photoshop skills

It still amazes me that all those people and the environment were just from photos and that it was edited and added to make it look like it was drawn in. I'm hoping to get into this. I have an interest in doing this type of concept art for video games.

it is amazing how some objects and photos can greatly advance the time of creating such an art, I always say and this time is no exception, this illustration was beautiful! personally i would put more snow on the scene because of the background, but i'm not sure if that would make the image heavy in the eyes ... anyway a great job! I love the photobashing videos you make, especially because I mostly do only photomanipulation, but I always wanted to make digital art, so this is kind of in the middle of what I wanna do full time. Maybe you should make a series with concept arts from different movies, tv shous, even cartoons or anime. I feel like you would do an amazing concep art for Samurai Jack

How do you get your brush so "painty"? Do you use any extra textures or is it just a setting thing that I dont know of? Awesome work, man!!!

Thank you!!! I mostly use 3000x1600 px with 300 DPI, I export in JPEG, and for colour, I use colour lookups in PS.
