Thanks for this Roo! I ordered the set a few days ago and watching this has definitely got me excited, just for the coins alone. I love CCC and have spent a lot of time and money trying to find the perfect coins. I first saw Josh Jay do it about 7 years ago and have been obsessed with it ever since. I don’t mind the challenge aspect as for me it just looked so magical when I first saw it. It was just like the coins were melting off the ribbon.

I love performing it, but I just don’t love love love the premiss yet 🤣 I’ve performed it pretty much everyday since this review in the hopes that my mind changes
Actually you’ve got a good point, I don’t perform it half as often as I should because I don’t really know how it fits into my normal set either. I tend to do it when I’ve run out of things to show people. It’s very much an extra effect.

Nice review man, i might have too get a set for xmas now. Have you ever tried pontas ungimmicked version? Pipo Villanueva also has a very nice move for the 3rd coin being removed
I love Ponta’s version! And I did learn it, again at that point in time (much like I am still a little now) I wasn’t enamoured by the effect due to the props used. I think the inspiration this time came from the coins provided as well as Avi’s routine. It’s like when you have a set of coins that just feel good it makes you inspired to go out and use them, cause the experience using them is fun….if that makes sense 🤣 Fuck knows I’m off my tits on Lemsip! @RoosReviews yea I love a good set of ccc, I got Mario lopez version recently but haven't had a chance to work on it the coins are quite thin for his version though. 😂 no worries man, feel better soon g!
Very cool review as always ! I’m still looking for my first actual coin routine to put in my repertoire, I just can’t get any good enough reactions with it.
walkaround kickback can be quite easily worked out from the performance I feel, but probably good to come up with our own routines, I prefer Mario Lopez's version i think

Le monete sono davvero belle, la gaff sinceramente no! Ho diversi set di monete e la gaff è la stessa di set meno costosi. La routine spiegata è bella anche se non credo la inserirò in repertorio poiché ho la mia routine sia con 3 monete sia con 3 monete più la gaff e continuerò a fare. Ho comprato questo set per curiosità...mi aspettavo di più, poiché rispetto ad altri set sono più piccole,più spesse e più pesanti,credo che basta abituarsi...comunque...belle monete...peccato per la gaff....
Thing I love about CCC is the fact it is just 3 coins and a ribbon, I think that is the strength of it. I can kind of see why you think it is a weakness, but you're wrong :) Great review. Cannot wait to get my set.
I would consider wrong a strong word 🤣 It’s an opinion and I stick by it. As I say if I was really doing magic is that what I’d be doing? It’s I dilemma that I’m gonna struggle with, but as I say I am working it but just yet to fully accept it in my work. Thanks for watching 🙂 I hope you enjoy your set!

That is a wonderful idea sanding the turtle
Edges are sharp and turtle is deep dish. So it doesn’t un-nest as easily as it should. That’s my biggest complaint
Sorry to hear yours are that sharp! Try a light 200 grit sandpaper to the turtle rim and inside. Hopefully it helps!
Also the colour edges of the coin shell with the normal coin is different. The shell colour is dull, not like the normal coins are shiny.

how is this different from Andalusian Challenge by Elias D'Sastre
I don’t own it I’m afraid, so am unable to compare the two
Andalusian Challenge only uses three ungimmicked coins. The moves are more akin to ring and string routines.
