He probably just doesn’t have the best settings dialed in yet, I have an A7III myself and it’s great. You can change the focus sensitivity and the focus speed on these cameras

Something I always do when working on a vehicle that you might find useful is I get cardboard and draw a rough outline of whatever part I'm taking the hardware off of and stick the bolts/screws through the cardboard in the approximate location of where it came off the part represented by your drawing. It helps to keep track of exactly what goes where.

I think you’re confusing the A7SIII and the A7III. The A7SIII is the new camera that everyone is getting for UA-cam because it’s designed for video. It’s an easy mistake to make because they make the names way too similar, but that is not the camera you want for video.

Agreed. 2 suggestions: 1. Change focus mode to "wide" 2. Increase the f.stop (probably using 2.8 right now).
