I'm happy you posted this video, it helped me. But I'd like to mention one thing. The plug you pull above the belt housing is wrong (I think). That is a temp sensor for the motor. I did just like you said and it didn't fix it. I pulled the belt cover to check the switch and it was okay. I re-did this procedure, but instead pulled the plug apart that goes to the CVT switch and it reset it and I'm not in limp mode anymore. I think if you aren't in limp mode and just need to get the light turned off, you only need to do the plug under the seat.
Any tips? I have done this a couple of times and My light still flashing. Did also open the drive cover and belt seem fine and switch was on the on position. I'm getting no luck!
Disconnect that bottom wire where the belt goes first with key position to on. Then switch the jumper link underneath the seat like in video shown. After you do both make sure key switch is on position and wait like 15 seconds for cvt to flash on off. Now underneath the seat switch link back. Then connect the one by drive belt back in as well. Now start up cvt should be off now. Good luck again
Ok after reaching 100 hrs. The bike does that to have it checked for the BELT. To make sure the BELT is good. If BELT needs to be replaced now would be the time to do so.
Thanks to the record amount of snowfall this year mine finally reached the 100 hr mark. Official snow fall total this winter as of Friday 25 Feb is 88.5" and got about 3-4 over the weekend.

why did your CVT light come on?

What’s the thing you disconnect called near belt ?
Didn’t work for mine
Try again what year is your bike. I can tell you what to do to fix it.
@@OutdoorTonez I fixed it, I had to unplug the 2 wire plug on the bottom not the heat sensor like you did
@@mirin3181 where’s the 2 plug wire on the bottom? How did you reset yours?
@@mirin3181 like you said. What he unplugged has nothing to do with it. That’s the just for the fan to kick on.
