Kudos on showing the guys, BEHIND the builds! These beauties don't just HAPPEN, they take talent, skill, creativity and deserve to be appreciated. Great videography showing the process, yes, it takes a TEAM! I will be looking forward to the next SPARKSMOTORS video.
Dave Sparks has the snowed in series how about you Cleetus McFarland do Sand In series all you epic UA-camrs and your epic toys in the dunes. Hell yeah Brother! Let's Go!🎉🎉🤘🤘🖖🖖
This was done in the 70's , the machine was called Artic Cat BOSS CAT . The one I watched had a 302 V-8 that was a ice racer. Another was built with an 1000 hp turbine engine. Its well documented with lots of photos.
OK. Which part is going to fail first. Its either the front hub knuckle adaptor or the rear cat tracks getting shredded by the teeth of the drive wheel.
Saw this on Cleeter's channel last week, so stoked for the SNOWED IN series coming up to see this badboy ripping properly up at the cabin! Will y'all be adjusting the tracks to limit the angle more than what is already in place? It looks like they come up too much but I also don't know much about track vehicles lol
Would really like to see videos working on the FORD Cabovers those two Trucks are absolutely AMAZING AWESOME. Dave please start working on those Trucks they are going to be Sooooo Awesome when they are finished.
Anything Dave touches will ruin but that's what makes him. My and did that before but I never got my garage cause I keep helping too much. Good stuff bro 💯
Really cool build! Just thinking, except for deep powder, maybe ditch the ski's up front, get the correct size combo of float vs. dig tires with one or two custom steel rings around the tires circumference to cut into firmer snow/ice while turning.
First of all, this thing is amazing and love the collaboration between SMCO and Cletus. It looks like the tracks are leaning in at the top. I’m sure this is the result of having to use the hub adapters/ spacers and admittedly there may not be a better option but it looks like it will destroy the wheel bearing and possibly the spindle in the rear. If there is not an option to correct the offset I would definitely carry a hub assembly with you in case of failure. I didn’t think of it until I read the comments, but you might also consider coating the drive sprockets in something to prevent wear on the tracks. I’ve heard of companies using a non textured bed-liner to coat pulleys for industrial purposes. Teflon also comes to mind. Another option may be to sandwich the plastic cogs in aluminum for strength but stop short of the teeth so the tracks are riding on the material they were designed for but still have the reinforced hub. It all depends on if the previous failures were stripped teeth or if it ripped the centers out at the bolt holes. Just some things to think about. Keep up the awesome work!
My only concern would be the amount of contact the wheel makes with the track causing the track to slip. It is over double the power of what it was intended to see in the first place
Cleetus makes everything pretty dang wild and Dave does everything bigger, better, stronger. What could possibly go wrong? LOL Man those knuckles for the skis are BEEFY!!! Very well engineered and overbuilt. Impressive!
11 minutes 30 Mark the track on the left side flips up that reassures that my assessment of flipping the rear tracks around is the way to go check the comment below this one
But it didn't flip over. They didn't show it in this video, but in Cleetus' video, he shows that they've got a strut or whatever it's called, to stop it from rolling all the way over.
I'm an engineer. So I DO NOT understand why Dave breaking things can be "bad". It just tells you where you need to reinforce the next one. Ask Alan, next time Dave breaks stuff. He can probably teach you how to analyze the failure.
i wouldn't be surprised if there was a definite reason the original drive cog was plastic. 😵 Thinking the new aluminum one is gonna make confetti outta those rubber tracks. Just sayin' 🤠
If u watch it back it actually spits the truck off and up completely when he takes off with any power ,if he was turning at he same time the track would of come off , sick motor but needs some adjustments

Much love!
That sandrail is gorgeous though no doubt.

Hans, don't stop being yourself, screw the haters. It took a little bit to get to enjoy him, but he's a sweet guy, he deserves a thumbs up!
I agree Hans is awesome
Right?! Yeah he's not too bad hahaha
I love when you guys show the fabrication of the parts as well as how they get put together. Great build!
We appreciate ya!
Thank you, I appreciate you too! This channel makes me happy. 🙂
Definitely the tracks need anti- rotation bars added before it hits the snow. That’s been the problem with atvs and utvs.
In cleetus video they said they gonna change that because they wanted to do wheelies but its set up to soft.
It has them, but the spring rate wasn’t stiff enough so we fixed that after
we need a channel consisting of Dave and Cleetus, with all their shenanigans.
Don't forget whistlendiesel
They can't. !!!!! Limit of 3 channels for D.S.
Nothing would ever get done
100% Agree!!!!
@@davestevens4263 what’s the 3rd DS channel?
Love watching this after 😂 if ya no ya no
i cant wait for the video where cleetus wheelies and jumps it!!!
The fight for who gets to break it first reminds me of my childhood. 😂
It's a very common debate here lol
Enjoyed watching your young fabricator do his thing on those front skids. The guy has talent!
Dallin has been impressing us more and more, he's been killing it!
You guys just start a new trend that sanrio is the bomb that's awesome God bless you all
Hans is awesome and he has a eye for detail
Holy Cow!!!!!!! That’s amazing
Without Hans, we would have just watched Dave eat a Cup O Noodles, but it's the little snarks from Hans that make those moments special,
That's his speciality
Sparks Motors obviously has the best fabricator in the business.
Oooohhh i cant wait to see the test footage. Cleeter and Diesel are gunna gunna be wild with this thing
I think I might want one of those
Nice blizzard
Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
What a teaser!!!! Come on man
Love it!

The resort in the snow this year will be a treat 😂 woodfired spa 🥵 fun on the toys hot coffee watching the snow 🌨️ outside 😀
More cleetus and dave!!!!
Very Cool 😎 🎉
Cool new snow toy!
Cant wait to see Cleetus black hawl he just bought
Awesome video
Pretty freaking cool! Y’all be careful in that snow.
If that sandrail was 4wd with tracks on the front too... Omg. Put tracks on a rock bouncing buggy, would be a mean machine
The good news is, if you do break it AGAIN. you got the tools and the people to fix it.
OK. Which part is going to fail first. Its either the front hub knuckle adaptor or the rear cat tracks getting shredded by the teeth of the drive wheel.

That thing is amazingly beautiful.. Cannot wait to see it in full on action.. 🙏 🙏 🙏
Add a rubber coat to the teeth of the sprocket in the trac system to help longevity of the tracks 😉💪
Great video
That shop is a metal fabers dream...oh the things I could make
Add a smile to the tailgate... The duel fans look like eyes from "Cars"
Would really like to see videos working on the FORD Cabovers those two Trucks are absolutely AMAZING AWESOME. Dave please start working on those Trucks they are going to be Sooooo Awesome when they are finished.
OOOOO front tracks that just freewheel!!!
Thanks for the content
Great work Sparks motors, that beast looks sick
Super sweet feakin deal actually 👌
Hell Yeah Brother!!!
DUDE I COULD NOT IMAGINE WHAT THAT SNOWRAIL SOUNDS LIKE IN PERSON THAT ENGINE JUST SOUNDS SICK☠️☠️☠️☠️😁🤙🏽
Looks like Santa's Sleigh lol great job guys🔥🤙🏼
That weld seting sounded like heaven
Crazy cool build! Enjoyed the video! Keep 'em coming!!
Hans needs a channel he does so much prob makes lots $$ he's the go to guy does everything probably setting up the cabin now
Tracks are awesome on almost anything. That appears to need a stabilizing bar.
Anything Dave touches will ruin but that's what makes him. My and did that before but I never got my garage cause I keep helping too much. Good stuff bro 💯
1:06 notice the bent rim. Lol them Hella wheelies Garrett !!
Really cool build! Just thinking, except for deep powder, maybe ditch the ski's up front, get the correct size combo of float vs. dig tires with one or two custom steel rings around the tires circumference to cut into firmer snow/ice while turning.
Y’all have created one of the funnest toys I can think of for Cletus to destroy! Let’s go!🤠👍
First of all, this thing is amazing and love the collaboration between SMCO and Cletus. It looks like the tracks are leaning in at the top. Thingggg is a rippperrrrr lfg 🤘💪
You can do a 'wheelie' (trackie, I suppose) with any modern snowmobile.
They are awesome.
Wish I could work for these guys, they really bring dreams to life with awesome ideas.!!!!
Hell yeah brother!!!!
My only concern would be the amount of contact the wheel makes with the track causing the track to slip. It is over double the power of what it was intended to see in the first place
coming back to this video just to say he broke it.
Remind cleet of the ripsaw and how he got stuck. I am sure Dave will have his Snowcats up their
@MrSparksmotors-xt9wn scammer
Well it sure sounds healthy.
Barrett Jackson action January 27 a bad ass 6x6 hummer you'll want it .
Derek says: That's way too much... Perfect
Cleetus makes everything pretty dang wild and Dave does everything bigger, better, stronger. What could possibly go wrong? LOL Man those knuckles for the skis are BEEFY!!! Very well engineered and overbuilt. Impressive!
Like it in snow.
Put a strong spring on the limiter so it doesn't flip the Track up. Make it adjustable like coil overs so you can dial it in perfectly
That’s what we did right after this test👍🏼
So cool, wish we could have one down here in Central Texas!! But no snow here!!
Always your friend in Central Texas Hill Country
Yvonne ❤❤
"I don't see anything going wrong" aged really well 😂
Thanks for Always putting out quality content. I hope you' all have an awesome new year🎉❤
It looks awesome with bigger skis😂 trust me, you'll need them.
the tracks need limit straps to keep them from flipping over
Nice I love it
When are you starting the 6 wheel drive wrecker???
Looks like the track will end up wrapping around, needs more stability to stay level
Hans always looking like he only gets 2 hrs of sleep a night 😂
Did they put differential braking on there for steering? Looks like it turns too good to just be the skis
Who was the finger for?
🤣 please!
Hans putting in some labor!
While Dave eats noodles! 😂
I think you need to put pre-filters over the holes of the air filter canister. Or you are going to get a lot of snow in there

Was the alignment off on the rear or did Cleetus break the thing on the first burnout?! 😮
The rear tracks kept lifting up on it I think needs some kinda weight to keep it down .what if it flips over you might wrack ?
Camera looks clean
I'm an engineer. So I DO NOT understand why Dave breaking things can be "bad". It just tells you where you need to reinforce the next one.
Ask Alan, next time Dave breaks stuff. He can probably teach you how to analyze the failure.
I can see a mountain gathering of Dave, Cleetus, and Grind Hard Plumbing on the pink tracked power wheels. Matt can recover them in the Bombi.
i wouldn't be surprised if there was a definite reason the original drive cog was plastic. 😵 Thinking the new aluminum one is gonna make confetti outta those rubber tracks. Just sayin' 🤠
Cleetus…I want to drive it before you break it …Dave…I never agreed to that..😂
If heavy an diesel have something to do with it will b great badass
You know Dave's gonna break it just get over it and let him do it
Cleetus and Dave are like me and my friends if we had money.
Going to need a tensioner on the top of the track design or it’s going to slap hard
I have a feeling that if you reverse the tracks, they won't flip up as easily
Hey guys great video this is Taylor from Kauai. Keep doing a great job on your videos they're so entertaining Aloha
@~6:09 Nice stacks of dimes!
If u watch it back it actually spits the truck off and up completely when he takes off with any power ,if he was turning at he same time the track would of come off , sick motor but needs some adjustments
Sweet feakin deal.
