Sahil Samuel:- The song Maa represents ‘a child nestled in the arms of a mother wrapped with love.’ ‘Maa’ was written during the worst phase of my life after meeting with an unfortunate accident. Having to go through anxiety and battle depression, the words that formed into beautiful lyrics and that transformed into a song, helped me get comfort. I was told by the doctors that it is nearly an impossible dream for me to get back on stage, but within 1 and half months of the accident there was progress for my healing and in no time I found myself singing out loud the words of this song on the stage which is reciprocated with much love and support by many people today.
The song echoes of the unconditional and eternal love of who is a best friend to their children, ‘mother.’For the lullabies and the bed time stories, watching me grow, make mistakes and learn and for always having my back, in absolute devotion towards the selfless and pure love received from the mother, this song is an open letter filled with the sweetest melodies endeavouring the most luxurious words to describe the sacrifice, strength, beauty and love of a mother. And to those who needs to connect with their mother, may you find the joy and love that can never be experienced from anyone, anything and anywhere else in the world rather than in the loving arms of their mother.

She is omniscient if not with bookish knowledge but with the behaviour of her children, she knows about her children's happiness, agony, problems, situation, failures, memories and many more. No matter how hard we cry, weep in a locked room, come outside normally with every tear get wiped, pains get soothed and pretend like nothing has happened but she..she understands everything. Her cozy lap can surpass those costly pillows which can never provide the sukoon one gets by falling asleep into mother's lap.....
