Something that is hard to visualise is the size of the maeslantkering (at 9:18). Each of the arms is (almost) the size of the Eifeltower.

We had a plan for a mountain, it was too expensive, but mostly, no room to put it

Actually, it would've been disastrous and wasn't a completely serious idea. Since the ground would sink too much and the mountain would cause weather effects. (plus things like air traffic) so it was more like a troll than an actual plan.
