I clicked on my bluetooth speakers, got comfortable, and closed my eyes... about halfway through I realized my face was wet with tears of devotion and gratitude for our incomparable Master and it stayed that way until Sister’s final “jai guru!”. Deeply,deeply moving......my mother was a devotee of Swami Yogananda.She caught a glimpse of his photograph in a newspaper a fellow passenger was reading on a train.She had no idea who he was but felt a connection.👍
Many years later when my dad took up a job in another city,she came into contact with the Yogoda Sangh. She was very sincere in her practice,as long she was well.ln her last year's ,she had Alzheimer's and declined slowly.But she remained loving and positive even when she could no longer speak or reason.
I am a Vipassana meditator ,but l love the YSS it is such a loving practice,l just feel a sense of belonging.Thankyou for your beautiful message!Jai gurudev!

For Me, He came via thru my Dad going for the first time visiting a local small ashram, many year's ago back to Self-Realization Fellowship, Ft. Lauderdale Meditation group in FL. USA🇺🇸. But He came back so differently, I could see He experienced something, that was a remarkable-tangible personal relationship with God. And I wanted that same exact experience. And so I was introduced with God's greatest messenger, My Master, Teacher. I too am a meditator from Christian Catholic, background & My Teacher is Jesus Christ, yet I Love my Master Jesus Christ. It was a different type of meditation still yoga meditation Union with God but I didn't have the techniques and methods to take me deeper and the Kriya Yoga, and I was not initiated so as fast as I did and became a sincere devoted, regular meditative practitioner in the science and art of meditation I wanted to live, like my dad experience! So, day bye and day out and I love what Master says before he left his body. A devotee ask, Master. When you are gone? I'm paraphrasing now she said, Sri Days Mataji said what will happen and Master, meaning he mastered his body, emotions, consciousness. Yoganandaji, said: "When I am gone only 💗Love can take my place."Be so drunk(absorb) with the Love of God night and day that all you know of is God and give that Love to all." That was his message it was so beautiful the way you told yours do your mother's remarkable journey with Guruji!" And so it's beautiful Love story in the making. I came into this world Catholic and will be leaving it Universal because God is Universal; unconditional PURE Love! 💗🙏 What can I say your Mom had a beautiful story + Life & she had you and you had her what a you're family, definitely must have been impacted via her spiritual respectivity and so like my Dad, He has that same effect on Me too. A beautiful amazing Mother, she is, She live her life to fullest all the way to the end with that great Her very own great devotion & story you should sharedwith us! I wish I was able to give you a hug and so I'am via, spiritual hug! I want to offer you 💐a token of my respect to you're Great Mother,🙏💗May she rest in peace where she is in God and you know what I never met You but I know one thing about You, You are Me in Me & I'm in You! We are living in God's Play of 💗 unconditional pure consciousness it's a beautiful thing going on right now when we begin to know just by improve our knowing that's Self-Realization. Thank you, Sister Bhakti, for this clear message of love and insight. I wept upon hearing it, as I have been feeling very unworthy for some time. It was exactly the message I needed to hear, at the precise time I needed to hear it. Upon conclusion of the talk, I opened one of Guruji’s books at random and saw this passage: “Those who remove our troubles, dispel our doubts, and bestow peace are true teachers. I remember vividly Sister Bhakti as a Brahmacharini she would lead us on those special pilgrimages at Forest Lawn, Mother Center and Encinitas. Her purity in devotion is very touching and a tangible expression of Master’s Love. This satsanga is so exacting and inspiring.
