كنت انتظر متبرع بقلب
لإجراء عملية الزرع ودامت معاناتي أكثر من 8 اشهر. تدهورت صحتي وفقدت الامل ولم
يبق لي سوى الصلاة. نصح الأطباء عائلتي بإتمام الاجراءات لإخراجي
من المستشفى. خرجت مع قارورة الاكسجين وبعض ادوية الالتهاب الرئوي للتخفيف من
معاناتي وانا اموت. استدعت عائلتي كاهن الرعية واعطيت مسحة الموتى. يوم 22 تموز عام 1996 وانا بين الصحوة والغيبوبة سمعت بكاء
امي وتضرعاتها لمار شربل ليشفيني. ونامت بجانب سريري واضعة يدها على يدي. لست واثق
في تلك الليلة ان كان ما رأيته حقيقة ام حلم ولكن ظهر لي راهب بثوب أخضر وقلنسوة بنية.
كان شاب في العقد الثالث من العمر بشرته بيضاء وملامحه أوروبية. لم ينتظر سؤالي
ليجيب على التعجب الذي كان باديا على محياي. وبادر بالقول: اخي مار شربل اعتذر عن
الحضور بنفسه لأنه يجري عملية قسطرة لمريض اخر في مستشفى اوتيل ديو. انا سأجري لك العملية وبدأت سانت ريتا بوضع
القفازين في يديه. انا طبعا احرجت لأني سمعت انه مش شاطر. ما
نجاني من مشرطه والموت المحتم انني لا امتلك تأمينا صحيا فرفض اجراء العملية. ومرت
الايام وتبرعت لي عائلة بقلب ابن قضى في حادث سير وتعافيت تماما من مرضي وها انا
اروي قصتي هذه.
