I hope we get a "Dumbest Sideline Reporter Mistake in NFL FOX history" about the time Danyelle Sargent asked Mike Singletary if Bill Walsh (who died the year before) called him after he got the 49ers coaching job
FOX also did this in 2009 when John Mayberry Jr hit a home run and they showed his father and former MLB player John Mayberry Sr in the crowd. The only problem is it wasn't him, it was just some random black guy
As a Floridian, I know about Paul Kennedy mainly from his work with Florida State athletics, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Orlando Magic for what are now Bally Sports Sun and Bally Sports Florida. I never knew him to be this sloppy.
This is very similar to the mistake that Jack Edwards (of Boston Bruins fame) made in 2002 during the World Cup quarterfinal between South Korea & Spain. For some context at the time, ESPN/ABC in one of the dumbest broadcasting moves in the history of the network named Edwards their lead soccer commentator (ahead of people like Ian Darke & JP Dellacamera) & their primary commentator for the 2002 World Cup. This was a bad move because Edwards in addition to not knowing a single thing about the sport also brought the homerism that makes his calls for the Boston Bruins quite interesting especially for the USMNT matches. During this Spain-South Korea quarterfinal in which South Korea won in penalties & becoming the first Asian nation to make the World Cup semifinals, Edwards called South Korea "North Korea" multiple times on the air even though North Korea had not qualified for the World Cup. To make this even worse, Edwards then called South Korea's president who was in attendance to see this historic moment Kim Jong il as in the dictator who was in charge of North Korea at the time. ESPN drew immediate criticism from not only South Korea's ambassador to the US but also many Korean American groups for this mistake & had to apologize. Not only that but because he was absolutely awful as a soccer commentator, along with the mistake Jack Edwards was sent home from the World Cup immediately (and never called another soccer game again) & JP Dellacamera called the World Cup Final between Brazil & Germany.

I always wondered how the hell do those guys receive info like that and obviously how could they can't do something so simple as make a quick investigation to confirm it

I've watched a lot of your videos but have never commented before. I don't think I've ever laughed as hard at any of your videos as this one...what an epic screw-up by Fox!
That's pretty horrible!! Need to do video on when Mike Goldberg was announcer for a vikings game and fucked up nearly every single thing he said!!?? He was getting names and all kinds of shit wrong!!?? Absolute debacle!!??
Not mentioned in this video was Bill Maas analyzing Brad Johnson's touchdown pass to....Brad Johnson. He first says "I thought that the pass was deflected (by Panther DL Greg Kragen), but I thought it was a pump fake." Then goes on to say he was looking downfield for a receiver before finishing the job himself. Kennedy goes on to say "When you have no receivers, you become your own receiver." What those 2 failed to realize is he became his own receiver BY DEFAULT BECAUSE YOU CAN'T THROW 2 FORWARD PASSES ON THE SAME PLAY! Actually, tbh, I thought that was what the video was gonna be about when I clicked on it. I was wrong.
Looking back, had the Panthers started Beuerlein over Collins in 97 would they make the playoffs? They still have a solid but aging defense. Offense especially at QB was disappointing. I think Fred Lane Anthony Johnson and the oft injured but speedy Tim Biakabutka made up their rb room.
This reminds me of my long ago DJ days when I worked with a fellow DJ who claimed on air that The Guess Who (Canadian band if I'm not mistaken) was early The Who (English band). Uh yeah right. :p
Is it possible that you can make a video about the controversial suspension of MASN Broadcaster Kevin Brown that took place late July-early August on your JaguarGator7 channel?
A similar thing happened a few years ago during the Super Bowl rams bengals. At the beginning of the game, while talking about Matt Stafford, the broadcast showed a woman in the seats with text saying it was his wife. And the announcers talked about his wife + family. A few minutes later they said there was a mistake, the woman shown before was not his wife. THIS IS his wife (they then showed the correct woman at the game) 😂😂💀
Pregame Guy for the Magic and Lightning on Sunshine. Back then Fox used their RSN Guys a lot. Also, did the Sunshine Produced Replays and Pay-Per-View Games for the Florida State Seminoles.
If the crew in this hear is saying it is his dad and wife, no way especially back then would you think the your own fox crew you worked with would lie. It is amusing but you are being a little hard on him. Who in that split second would stop and think, i didn't verify this so i can't say what my producer is telling me?😂
I do think you are a bit harsh on the play-by-play man. Like he made a mistake, and ultimately was the person who said the wrong statement, but this was a fail by multiple people - the producer, the camera crew, they all were involved in this incident. We don't know what was being said in the headset from the producer in the truck, and it's possible that Kennedy was observing the field opposed to looking at what was on the live monitor. On top of this, it's not like anyone else in the booth was refuting what he said live, like the analyst or the statisticians, or even the researchers among the game day crew. So the fault does fall on the entire FOX Television crew here. Not saying Kennedy was in the right here, because someone like Murray should be well known in how much information is out there about him (and his family), but these play-by-play guys who bounce from team to team have to get used to like 15-20 or so teams during the course of a regular season, each with 51 person rosters. Granted there's a lot more about NFL guys via media kits provided by the team's head of media/public relations than there would be for collegiate or high school level athletes, but it's still a lot.
If only the turnover were the most awful thing Carruth ever did.

Eddie Murray's child that was at home with his wife is a cheerleader for the Lions. Her name is Nicole.

The REAL reason the Vikings lost that game wasn’t because of Gary Anderson it was because Dennis Green coached scared
