We saw your oder come thru at 6:01! haha! thank you very much for the support mate, we know you are going to absolutely love the full system, it is honestly outrageous. Being able to creep home in Quiet after being a pest is fantastic!
I used to own one of these. Had it for 8 months. I loved it so much but got a 79 at a price I couldn’t say no to (brand new new shape V8, done 5” and coil conversion). But now I can’t unhear what everyone used to say to me, it sounds like a V6 commodore haha. Amazing car though still. You guys have made it sound good now 🎉
Currently have the newer Tickford turbo back system (not the manta made one). Whilst it sounds awesome and much gruntier than standard, I am a fool easily parted with his money and love this sound from yours. I had the FF tips when I first got my Raptor and love your work!
Hey mate! Interesting, we've only seen the Manta assembled units as yet! haha mate don't feel bad, we're the same as you! Thanks for watching and the support
Never in my life have I watched such a long video about an exhaust system. Congratulations guys for not only designing and making an exhaust system that sounds so much better than stock but also gives a nice power bump. Congratulations too on making a video that certainly kept me and hopefully many others watching intensely. I honestly don't think I've been so attentive to a video since starting to watching close encounter of the third kind on pirate vhs in '78, and then placing my hand under the sofa and discovering my uncles VHS porn stash. Hmm😏 Mary Millington.
Definitely googled Mary Millington for research. Thank you for your kind words mate, that makes it all worth it when we just wanted to throw it up for sale as soon as it was tacked together. We wanted to preemptively answer everyone's questions, and show much much consideration goes into every component. Really glad some one enjoyed watching it. Thanks for watching it all the way thru!!!
Rob Herrod has explained that only a cat back system can be used on Herrod pack Raptors. They won't retune to suit the dump pipes and also won't cover any warranty issues that arise from having the full system. Think it's time for you to get an F-150 ECU and a proper tune mate.
@@hamoudy07 Yes I know about this and will probably go this way, as for the 150, not sure, Had V8's my whole life and I am really enjoying something very different. I have a Herrod tune and a process west air intake and piping kit, just need to do exhaust now and I am done
@powderskier5547 I don't think you understood what I meant mate. Using the F-150 ECU out of the Ecoboost V6 model allows the Raptor to be tuned as the factory ECU is heavily locked down. I will be going this route when I finish all the bolt on mods on my Raptor.
Fuck Yeah Congrats and Well Done Nath and Team and The Team from Beaudesert You guy's Rock.. My 200 series has a 3 inch stainless system and I have never heard a Better sounding 200 series especially Now that I've had it Tuned 900Nm OMFG what a Note.. Godspeed Lads ❤❤❤❤
The American ranger raptor and the rest are different actually. Not sure how different, but enough for a considerable amount of things to have compatibility issues
Hey mate, The Fabulous Fab units retain the OEM mounting locations, angles & sizes, so if your DM dump and front pipe bolts to the OEM mid section, yes! If you're not sure or want to confirm, feel free to send us an email at info@fabulousfab.com.au and we can arrange to check it out in person or with photos. Thanks for watching!
It’s cool what you’re doing but all you have to do is look at what the F truck is doing with the raptor they have to be equal length that’s the big thing with a V6 it would be super cool if somebody could make a trombone exhaust for the Ranger raptor
Really instead of an x pipe the exhaust coming out of the right hand side needs to build some length to make up for the extra distance that the left-hand side has to travel Ford does it by taking the right side exhaust and looping it around the left side exhaust with the exact difference in length between the two Making them equal length
@wizzylizzy69 I appreciate that but I don't know what the factory BHP is at the wheels or if it's even measured at the wheels. So much vehicle info out there confuses HP and BHP. I'm assuming the uk version of 292 bhp was actually measured at the wheels so 360 is a great bump but if that's their version. Sorry just to... Because some brochures list 292hp and 237bhp whilst others list 292bhp 🤦🏻
@@wizzylizzy69 Yes sadly we get bent over every time when it comes to performance. 400 is one of the attractions of the Raptor, it rumoured that there may be a V8 in '25, a NA V8 would be a dream even over here, better sounding and easier to tweak. Thanks for the info though, appreciated. 🤝🏻 🍻
My Herrod tune made 295kw at the hubs, a the time I thought that was a bit low, but I will be getting one of these exhausts for sure and btw it ran a 12.7 1/4
Hey mate! It always makes me laugh seeing what good 1/4 times these achieve in relatively stock trim for their size. Ah dyno's can be so situational, the idea of using the one dyno, one car, but in 3 different configurations was more to show the % increase we gained. We're looking forward to seeing a HERROD tune paired with our system! Thanks for watching mate really appreciate it!
Great video, awesome to hear about the development and engineering. Exhaust fit and finish look amazing. But I'm let down buy the sound. You stated you wanted to make it sound like a GTR. What also recently switched to sounding very close to an R35 GTR is the F150 Raptor with the 3.5 TT V6. Because of the "Trombone" Ford added to make the pre muffler and pre crossover pipes equal length. SPD Exhaust makes a Trombone pipe to be fitted on older 3.5tt F150 Raptors, and that pipe does change the sound tone to R35 GTR like. Your exhaust has a cleaner tone down low, than stock. But still hits a rasp point that doesn't sound good. Add the downpipes and that rasp point is all over the top end. You made a loud exhaust, not a great sounding exhaust.
Hey mate, we might need to subtitle Australian accents in future! Nathan blowing a diff added considerable months to the development timeline, we copped a lot of flack for how long the product was taking, and we liked to blame the guys who helped us make it, rather than Nathan blowing the diff. So it was just Nathan asking Jamie how come this project took 12 months as a joke.
Wow I’ll give it to you. You must of put just as much work into that sales pitch. Because in the end close your eyes and all you hear is a P plater in a VN commodore. Still sounds like crap and I’ll bet ya a dollar a Highway Patrol is coming down on that Baja exhaust like a ton of bricks !!!!!!
The Exhaust is absolute quality and every bit of proper engineering parts and materials along with great fab work - BUT the sound is pure garbage - no fault of the exhaust.... but there really is no way to make a V6 sound good... the only way to get any real difference is going to be good turbo's seen a couple raptors with proper garret turbos and complete game changer on sound and note verse the choppy stock turbos
Exhaust looks unreal. But also, the quality of this video is something else. Great job team 🤠
Thanks mate!
Really good video,
Really good marketing,
Fuckn great exhaust!
Well done boys!!
Thank you Stef we have committed to giving marketing & videographer a 50% wage increase because of this comment

Epic boys, sounds way too good! and those gains...
Yewww just ordered the dump pipes to finish the full exhaust. Thanks guys!!

Lol i snapped my axle a month ago, hopefully get the car back before Christmas haha pretty shit but
Hey mate, thanks for watching, I hope Ford warranty sorted you out!
Beings a modular system, Will the front section bolt right up to my Dynamotive dump pipes (i already have your rear 4” tips)
If it bolts to the oe system then it will yea.

will there be one for the 2.0 NextGen raptor ?
Maybe another 2 Cylinders will sound better.
Great video very professional however 😂 it still sounds like my old VS ecomang
VS wagon - one of the best cars ever made
how much boys
$7900!!!
You lads gonna sell the full exhaust system ?

Where can we get our ECU’s tuned ?.
Or do you have a F150 ecu??? ???
Was a video a while back on getting the new done
So glad I sold my Raptor for an f150 yesterday……😢
hahah thats no dramas mate, thanks for watching and hopefully we will be carrying a lot more for 'american' models soon
Sorry to post again but are your stock raptors like the uk models de tuned from 400bhp to 292bhp?
@@Sly_Wolf_1 no full power this is power at the wheels mate

@Sly_Wolf_1 nah it's measured ar the crank here, the dyno tuning is at the wheels
@Sly_Wolf_1 unfortunately you guys get 292 at the crank, but I imagine with a emissions pipe delete and factory aus tune it will be 400
