The lifeline shield was amazing because it made lifeline actually protect the revive and encouraged teamwork. Big mistake taking it away. I didn't mind how annoying it was sometimes. Since Maggie and fuse are a thing I seriously doubt it would be overpowered if they brought it back.
But how often do you really see a maggie now and how often do you think they'll have to brains to use it right or not have cooldown timer, she needs her shield back simple, just not auto rez+shield, that shit was brokey, manual revive+shield
They gave us Maggie an absolute unit harcountering shields and still, all i see is people talking how "weak" she is the easiest games i have are with maggie, didnt even take me 50 Kills on her to get a 3K Badge on her. Sometimes i feel like the entire commnunity just follows what says without thinking themselves, best shown in the recent Seer spike.
I still miss the shield that gets deployed in the front while getting ressed by the drone It was fun to be lifeline main back then helping my team and hiding behind that shield for temporary cover

imo.. the heal drone should have interact, makes it follow players..when some lifeline player do drop the heal drone, they place it somewhere relatively unsafe..

Just rework her ultimate so that she calls down a combat medic drone that shoots lasers while flying around. Protects downed allies, or seeks out enemies attacking you. Aka, helps wherever it's needed, flying about 15 feet above ground.
I only play lifeline this season, the drone is such big value and as good is the old shield was, I do like her current res passive. Agreed that her kit is pretty outdated and she use to be super strong when I played on release to s2
The difference between good Lifeline and FNG Lifeline is immense. But this is just because of the expectation from legends in your team. You expect good Lifeline to pop E-Q combo on you and protect or continue pushing. You never expect from Wraith to portal you from a sticky situation, but you ALWAYS expect Lifeline to run to you and tap a quick E for revive.
best suggestion ive heard so far is making her able to move the drone similarly to how vantage can move her bat or newcastle his tactical shield. A mobile healing drone. Buffing her ultimate would also be nice And letting her res 2 teammates with drones at the same time instead of one with drone and one normal

i stopped playing lifeline for a while after i got the legend pack but i just keep coming back to her. the way she can make fights harder for the enemy team by quickly healing her mates while they pop a bat or throwing the drone out while they're getting rezzed for a quicker resest during a fight or after to be prepared for a third party is kinda unmatched. she was my first 4k badge too so i def have a soft spot for her in my heart

in my opinion to help lifeline become the best legend she could be and actually give her a fucking job instead of drone is PASSIVE:The drone either should revert back to how it used to be where it had a shield but not the one where you could cancel a rez and shoot and re open, the one where it’s auto rez with a shield but it expands the current KD shield the person has or make it to where lifeline uses her own so she doesn’t have one if she gets knocked TACTICAL:Follows the lifeline😐 literally that’s it or even moveable hell idc ULTIMATE:This is where I wanna see a big change, keep the version with loot and keep it the same but add another version like ramparts turret (movable,placeable)where her care package comes down slower with the teammates inside of it with normal starting gear (with their banners of course that’d be kinda op without it like that) or make it borderlands esq digistruct revives them on the spot with technology to revive the teammates so her ult is ACTUALLY USEFULLY LATE-GAME just my thoughts

The problem with Lifeline is she was one of the most irritating no skill legends to play with her rez. I think they need to just change her ult completely because it's next to useless; if it was a replicator & free respawn beacon it would be much better.

Ive been a lifeline main since the 2nd day of launch.. 5x pred and 50+ lifeline kills later and i think she is bottom tier and im just holding on for nostalgia... But i do want her original kit back WITH fast heals and the hold for shield where you could 1v3 better
The gameplay footage that's ment to show that lifeline is in a better state failed to do so. Any legend to could do the things that you had lifeline do since it was just good movement and aim. There were even examples showing lifelines ability as being useless, like her drone phasing through a closed door, or an enemy lifeline rez amounting to nothing but more killed for you.
