Don't listen to much jazz but being a musician, playing in bands and churches for years- I have immense respect for these guys. I watched the whole time with a big grin. Traveling, day in and day out, touring, being that tight and passionate not to mention talented. Being in a band is like being in a relationship with 5 dysfunctional people, these guys are pros...incredible

i think every aspiring young musician should learn from this. i mean in youtube we are more exposed to the highly skilled individual performance. but here in this vid, they have 2 keyboardist but not a single time they overdoing something that completely shadow each other, on the opposite they showcase each other harmoniously elevating the performance in general. and this also applies to the guitar, bass, drum and of course the main man Dave Koz. i am inspired thank you. harmony above technicality
So true. As a professional keyboardist, I've had WAY more bad experiences than good in sharing the stage with another keyboardist. Brian Simpson is one of my favorite guys and is always amazing and gracefully complements the other keyboardist. Maybe this is why George Duke chose to have Brian as his second keys guy on several tours.
