I was on a Delta flight with Don Vito around 2005 or so although he was seated a few rows up from me. A couple kids my age (17-18) were totally geeking out that he was on the plane with us and though I knew who he was, I really didn't care. As they walked past my row back to their seats, I asked them if he really sounded like he did on the show. One of them laughed and said, "We couldn't understand a word he said."

I was leaving my local supermarket with a party size pizza a few months ago, and there was this old, portly fellow sitting in an old Crown Victoria with the window down in the parking lot. As I walked past the vicinity of his car, he yelled out "Did you get that for me". He was very animated and his speech was all over the place, only marginally more coherent than Don Vito. Totally made me think of him.
I was late to the party with this show, I didn’t even know about Viva La Bam until September of 2020 when I saw a trailer for the season 2 and 3 on a DVD of the first season of Pimp My Ride.
Fuck, I miss this show so much. Takes me back to high school when I started skating because of Bam. Wish this was on Netflix or something, they don't make funny shit like this anymore.
