My huge ears demand an open cup design . Currently using the SONY PULSE ELITE headset for my customer service job . The noise canceling and 30hr battery life is AMAZING !
I purchased these for work before the WL7024 was released and since the ear pads are replaceable and I prefer over-the-ear pads, I used the existing plastic frame from a spare set and swapped the pads to a replacement set for the SkullCandy Hesh 2. The pads now cover my ears instead of sitting on them, and they are much better at noise cancelation and more comfortable.
How dp you know which replacements fit? I want the wl7024 but there is no boom mic which is a red line for me, so if I can turn the wl5024 into over ear ones that would be awesome.
@@htzionis through trial and error I found that the replacements for the SkullCandy Hesh 2 were the right size to re-use the existing plastic brackets.
Dell audio app cannot find my wl5024 even it is already connected by Bluetooth to my cellphone...even the peripheral manager app on my laptop also cannot find the headset with USB dongle plugged and connected... really frustrated

Hmm I have not had this issue with my unit. Make sure you have the Dell receiver selected and the microphone position closer to your mouth. Also download the dell peripheral software make sure the headset is fully up to date, unplug/replug the usb dongle. If all of that still doesn't work it should be covered under warranty with Dell you can inquire about.

Https://neep.com Other than that there are a lot of options to consider the Orosound Tilde Evo is coming out soon that will be 🔥 or you have the Jabra Evolve 55 there’s quite a few options that do really well. If you're on Windows check to see if you have a setting called "intel smart sound technology" and disable it. Go to Start Menu > Device Manager > Sound and video game controllers > Disable anything referring to intel smart sound technology.

Do you have to use the dongle if your computer has bluetooth connectivity? I have a Dell computer and would think it would sync right up.
Yes, it's always recommended to use the USB Dongle for a more reliable connection and better audio.

@@HeadsetAdvisor unfortunately when I deactivate the settings mentioned laptop can't detect the microphone and WL5024 only works as headphones
@@victorbonifaz2681 which settings do you have that you disabled? Sometimes theres multiple of these settings for Bluetooth, USB or microphone.
