I believe if your dad got the safety package (driver lane assistance) they only come with LED taillights. Did you check the build sheet/window sticker?
I enjoyed watching video as I ordered my 22 Willys Extreme Recon in Gobi with Tan interior, and Tan Soft Top. I loved it for the 43 days / 2446 miles I drove it before the 2.0L motor blew and brakes got bad. Jeep has ruled the motor defective and currently waiting on replacement engine. The braking system cannot be inspected until the motor is replaced. I am approaching 30 days no jeep as engines are on national back order being shipped as soon as in stock. My first vehicle was 97 WJ. It took me 20 years to get another and I can not express to you how hard it is to watch the your dream Jeep go poof with no date on getting it back. I sincerely hope this does not happen to your Father, and he enjoys every minute. I look forward to more videos on this jeep.

We ordered an got the Beach edition with extreme recon package and I thought the same with the taillights because we optioned the EXACT same options as your dad did I got the LED taillights as well. My thoughts is that maybe the LED taillights are added with the trailer group because of the auxiliary switches and amperage. Don't know for sure but I had the same reaction when we picked it up. I would have bought a High Tide if it had a black top. The yellow was a bit much. Ended up buying a Gladiator Sport that was loaded with a diesel. Planning to add a lift and 35’s. Bought my wife a Gobi JL with the one touch and it’s also a diesel

What is weird my 2021 willys came with the exact same digital cluster as the rubicon and this New 2022 and 2023 willys are coming with the basic neddle cluster. Dont get it!

Looks good. I have a 21 willys but no recon pkg. I am not a fan of the Firestone M/T tires it came with so i am going to go with A/T. It drives really nice but i think this will make for a smoother drive on the highway hopefully. BTW i live in Lancaster county 👍🏻

How long did it take to get your Dad's Willys XR? I ordered my Willys XR on 29 Mar. It's built according to the Jeep website tracker, but states it hasn't shipped. My dealership says it has shipped, but has been sitting at a California distribution center for 2 weeks waiting for final destination to my dealership. What's more accurate, the website or dealership. Thanks

You probably could, we lift ours with a 2 inch mopar at the dealership for 37’s and it’s perfect on the XR

I got the tan seats in my JLU Sting gray, Absolutely love them, Dealer said they don’t see much of them either.
It is more rare with the tan seats!

Hey so if you have the led fender lights you have all leds all around, the other package is just fog and fronts
If you add the tow group to the Xtreme recon package you get led tail lights!

This jeep didn’t have the Led option, the Willy’s come with front led headlights and fog lights standard!
That’s how wrangler should be order extreme recon package that’s all u need nice jeep .. the package should be available on the Gladiator come on Jeep

It’s a glitch on Jeeps website, you are able to add them on the dealer end!
Those are LED tears and look to have blind spot sensor in there but you said he didn’t order the safety package.

How tall is it with this package?
The lift is around 2 inches, and the tires are close to 35" so a few inches taller than a standard Willys!
