Training in Swine Ultrasonography with IFIP !

Hi, I am Sylviane Boulot, the swine reproduction specialist of the French Pig & Pork Institute (IFIP). Ultrasonography is now a key tool for reproduction management in our pigfarms, and routine pregnancy checking is available to all of us, but you may be puzzled by enigmatic pictures !
• Is this sow really pregnant?
o Is this an abnormality or small litter ?
• And what about those gilts and empty sows ?
o Are they suitable for reproduction?
o Can we expect them to come into estrus rapidly ?
Our practical training will give you all the answers, and a lot more !
We will provide gilts and sows at different reproductive stages, and you will be practising by yourself, using different equipment.
Early pregnancy control, empty sows, ovarian and uterine disorders, puberty diagnosis, backfat … You will become an expert !
Farmers, Technicians, Vets, you are all welcome.
We can also customize the program and train in your pig farm, in France or abroad.
