Accords in the movie we're sheltered individuals with zero real battle experience yet to kill Orphy Kira needed MSF. Please, let's not look down on the skills of the Accords. If their 1st real war was like this, how powerful would they have been if they had equal experience to Kira and fought in 2 wars before dealing with Kira? Accords were in no way weak.

So, there's no reason to call accords crap for using their genetic abilities when both Kira and Lacus do that too. Kira, Mu and Shinn also uses that ability to sense danger (new type ability) too. (it's another genetic ability) Even Shinn, Athrun and Cagalli are known to use SEED because they can. It's hypocritical to accept the natural ability of the characters you like and call them strong yet reject the natural ability of the enemy accords and call them weak just because you may not like them.

Not until the final battle when Lacus brings the Defender on him, gives him another new power to wield, this time , Kira fought for the name of Love on Lacus and to kill.
Do You know how insane it is to take on both the sub boss and final boss with an entire fleet all at the exact same time and they counter almost everything you do

Sure those 4 weren't as skilled as Shura but they weren't nobodies. They dueled against Shura every single day and Shura never once complained about them being weak. Shinn after learning from Kira and Athrun and having something to fight for and being sane makes him a monster. The most insane part is the Black Knight's MS virtually have the same specs as the Destiny and know his fighting style.

Not only that, the railgun also different but thanks to that, SF now can use the railgun while attach the rifle on the side of it (type 1 can't use railgun when the rifle was attached to the waist)

There is a lot of wrong with GS Freedom (power scaling, pacing issues, rushed second half) but if u go against rules u set in previous iterations, u know that u are very bad at writing. Or at least, story failed to make continuty check. Making super robo, from real robo, meh. Best part was, whern Compas was screwed up totally. It was a moment, when i literally got shivers bcause suspense in disbelief made me feel that they are really fighting for their lives. Something, that was completely wasted in the end.

Kira was literally facing 3 Zigurats (on top of 2 suits specifically designed to counter 80% of SF's weaponry in a 1v2 situation) which were a lot stronger than Foundation fleet equiped with anti-Phase shift missles, multiple beam cannons, and it's main guns which are able to bend.
