what I got from this was "well, someone's got to break the ice, and it might as well be me- you know, I'm used to being a hostess, it's part of my husbands work and it's always difficult when a group of new friends meet together for the first time to get acquainted, so I'm perfectly prepared to start the ball rolling, and I mean I have absolutely no idea what we're doing here, or what I'm doing here, or what this place is about, but I am determined to enjoy myself, and very intrigued- and oh my, this soup's delicious, isn't it?"
What an underrated actress! RIP Mrs. Peacock (Eileen Brennan) God bless you in Heaven. We love you and you are in a better place now. But at least it wasn’t poisoning that killed you. 😉 P. S. You were a fantastic Mrs. Peacock, Eileen.
Nostalgia brought me here -EPIC EVERYTHING- this classic cult comedy film has..took me right back to 1985 when I first saw it in the movie theatre... glad everyone is enjoying it, however you discovered it.. so rarely is anything produced in today's case, made and especially performed to this degree of excellence in all ways of delivering timeless cinematic art that never gets old or stale.
Nearly every name of the characters has a double meaning, based on their game piece color but also their personalities. Ms Scarlet runs an escort service, and red is historically seen as the provocative color worn by women of the night. Mr Green looks to be a bumbling fool for being a federal agent. He's green as grass. Mrs White is actually the exact opposite. She's a BLACK widow. Mrs Peacock wears flashing clothing and clearly has a compulsive need to be the center of attention, as a peacock is known to be.
Thanks Katya

Such an underated movie
Monkey's brains, though popular in Cantonise cuisine, is not commonly found in Washington DC.
This works well for the peacock ending
EPIC PERFORMANCE!
This would be my entrance line for drag race... no no the whole thing
This is excellent.
I feel like Eileen Brennan isn't mentioned enough in this movie--she's so hilarious in every moment, in a movie of hilarious moments.
This is me trying to make conversation, thinking that if I just talk everything will be fine.
I made the EXACT same face at the end. XD
Love this movie!

Sounds like my babbling, while trying to keep it together. :)
