As a result, theirs will always have very little value. But I don't think that effects the other companies so long as they don't follow suit.
I’m not sure I understand your purchase on the herbert/lawrence/luka deal. The luka and tlaw are selling for about $3 each on ebay and the herbert for $10. Could you explain it to me?

Ebay and mercari knit-pick American Sellers while allows Billions in Counterfeit ,bootleg and fake items from China , And other countries.
I agree and Id like to see it make a resurgence. May not happen though, and I have theories on that but Id need a marker and white board to draw it all out lol. But I absolutely love baseball cards and I need to make sure this show shows love to all the sports evenly when possible.

Look up shows near you online. You'd be surprised how many there are. Every show I've been to has had slabs at least as low as $10. And you see some real good ones here & there!
Yeah, I would've loved to buy that one but not for that much. And the player in question is evidently one to keep an eye out for in the next draft. OTE puttin out some up & comers.
I'm always a little worried buying raw to grade because I think the dealer has looked them over and found a flaw on it or he would have graded them himself, seems like that guy was real quick to accept your offer on that Herbie. Keep up the great vids!
That's an excellent point to make! I'll admit in the heat of filming and negotiating, Im not looking as closely at that as I could or should. I do check the corners and centering but I probably miss a detail here or there. I'm glad you're digging the vids!!
Agreed that guy might have looked them over to not send them off for grading. Although I think price was pretty fair for the lot, so who knows maybe he has some decent prices?

Since Ebay is trying to take over grading and vaulting they have let China , Probstein123 , Flawless Gem Sports Cards & Dcsports takeover the online market for sports cards and pokemon . All the chase cards and boxes Americans have been looking for in American retail.Can ONLY be bought at a Higher price from China. For me , that factor and the suppression of true value of sports cards memorabilia for Decades shows corruption which is driving most from the hobby . Card is only worth what somekne is willing to pay. Any card you can list , China , Probstein123 dcsports etc can List cheaper. Its all rigged.
That's rough stuff indeed. And a podcast topic if I ever heard one. There's a lot of junk grading and then we have to quantify what is junk. You see base rookies getting graded and that's like a bow on a turd to most. But then grading $20-40 cards, parallels & what not, are also junk and market flooding to some. But not to me from my current perspective. And as far as eBay goes, well, they're big enough to ruin anything they get too involved in because the sole focus is greed and nothing else. For whatnot I look at streams with like 10 people, that’s where you won’t find people paying 500% comp, so realistic prices
