This is probably one of my favorite niche fragrances lol. Aventus, reflection man and new harlem would probably be my 3 favorites... When i was wearing new harlem, I got sick of it after awhile.. it can get cloying and over the top.. You just have to be careful how much you put on and how often you wear it.. If you use it sparingly and not all the time.. its a great frag.
I think it is as important to say what you don't like as well as what you do (and why). You, as a reviewer, are in a position to help those of us who watch you pick out fragrances we would like to try based on what you like a dislike. If you like everything, that goes out the window. Bond No9 is a fine house and has some great releases. Not a fan of maple syrup. Thanks you guys!
Nice review by the triumvirate. As a gourmand lover, this one does wonders for me, not only due to the syrup vibe but also due to the coffee, and for that reason, it's my stereotypical cold weather breakfast/brunch scent. I associate it with I Love New York For All, as well, not only since I bough them around the same time, but they have that similar sweet coffee vibe, with ILNYFA leaning more toward a cocoa-laden dessert composition than the more breakfast-like New Haarlem. On another note, I've been hoping for a couple of years now that MA$E releases his next album as "New Haarlem World" but I might be waiting indefinitely for that.

I do own this and LOVE it . Gets noticed. The bond rep at Saks told me if I did not like the sweetness to try a small bit of little italy with it and I like that as well it also gets compliments.
Big props to Gary for spraying it in the heart. 😂 but in all seriousness i loved the honesty in this review. I do not own this one but i do own Cooper Square, West side, and my wife has perfumista and Chinatown. Thanks guys
This is one of a few Bond no9 frags I don't care for. Don't get me wrong it smells great, but maybe on pancakes not on person. But again I love watching reviews where the reviewers keep it real. Thanks guys.
I don’t understand why New Haarlem isn’t available anymore. I noticed that Saks occasionally gets bottles in but I’m not paying retail for it, no way. Then I just got an email from FragranceX that it was back in stock. So I go on there and they had a limited number of 3.3 oz bottles for like $127 bucks, but by the time I went to cash out it was out of stock. SO CLOSE! 😣
Never smelled a bond no.9 I didn't dislike unfortunately! This is the least bad though imo. Also, nice one for putting a link to your fragrantica profile in the description, wish more would do it

I'm with Carlos...I didn't care for this one because it make me thinking pancakes and maple syrup. I'm not a huge fan of the gourmand genre, but I find Rochas Man and Michael Jordan to be more wearable/likable options at a fraction of the price.

I wanted to like it so bad but couldn't help but feel like I was a walking IHOP all day. That said, I at least know there is a Bond out there that I should keep my nose away from. I would say that this one comes across as a little more complex, and it has the lavender note that's so many people talk about. I would definitely try this one out if you are a fan of the designer. Not a huge fan of IHOP fragrances and certainly wouldn't spend the kind of $$ Bond is asking for New Haarlem when Michael Jordan Legend and Rochas Man can be had for $15 to $30.
It's way too sweet for me. From artistic point of view it's a unique scent but not really wearable for me. Bleecker Street,Scent of Peace and Bondno9.com are the best Bondno9's imo.
It's definitely my favorite in the Gourmand class, I love it, to me it smells like French toast!

i have rochas man and i heard that they are very similar ..... but rochas man to me is amazing would you say tht this better ?

Would blind buy if it wasn't so overpriced. Apparently it has somewhat average performance, especially for an EdP.
its cloying and give me a headache. the smell of the coffee is faint too and doesnt project. Regretted blind bought this in an instance.
