This dude is the run killer for me on wave 18. Wave 18 this guy is a nightmare.
I would like to see a multitasker run where you try to get as many different set bonuses as possible. Bonus points if you can get all unique weapons and get the spider
Here's a challenge run for you! Do a pacifist run without any weapons.
Thing about the sniper was that this was not its build, it has an x3 damage on crits and scales on range both things not any of your other weapons cared about

If you are still looking for suggestions I'd be curious to see an Explorer/Energy build (tazer, flamethrower) Seems like it would be fun to be hosing down trees with fire, but I was having a hard time making it strong enough to survive. Love to see you try, though!
I just realized in this new patch I have not seen the turret enemies.
Anyone else here think watching Retro play a game is almost like watching a pro athlete play their sport? I've played Brotato a lot, I actually play a lot of the games that Retro puts on his channel. Yet I hardly see win/get a successful run nearly as often or as smoothly as Retro seems to.
Have you done Explorer or Farmer since the patch changes?
I don’t recall if you have done both of them since the new patch, but I’ve been struggling with them specifically.
Definitely seems like characters who are designed less around killing things have a harder time than characters who are stronger at killing.
Especially because Wave 18 elites. So many good runs have just died because of that exact wave.
I was struggling with farmer too, but then I realized that the bonus damage from stick for holding other sticks IS NOT affected by the farmer's natural damage modifier decrease. A few all-stick runs later and I beat D5.

I would like to see a one armed sniper run and a one armed “John Wick” pistol run
Just started watching you, and I'm glad to find a community of people who are as obsessed with this game as I am!
I wonder if a generalist run is doable focusing NOT on melee or ranged weapons? Elemental/Engineer only... Would definitely be a challenge, but seems still doable. Maybe flamethrower/wrench?
I feel that, considering the projectiles it spawns, you could almost treat the sniper as though it have 6x the speed

I don't know if you saw my last comment but soul stone survivors was fully released with a several stage difficulty scaling
I also think the summoning elite is atrocious regardless of where it shows up, it feels like it's just so hard to actually kill unless you have a broken strong melee build that can just walk through enemies and chase it down constantly
Thank you for also thinking that the Wave 11 elite was way too difficult for how early it is. I was just paying a few rounds earlier, and got to that elite with what felt like a decent run and then came nowhere near defeating it, and lost once and barely survived the other time.
That was nuts.

I just saw a comment on Reddit that ppl should buy baby with beard on meele runs for the life steal, is that a thing? Loosing 40 range on meele and it’s pretty expensive just for more life steal procs. What do you think? Would you even prefer life steal on meele builds in generel?

My laptop can play this game, but barely, it's nice to see what the more hectic levels can look like without it being 3 frames a second XD

It was over too soon. We need like DL6 that goes to wave 30 or something. You guys probably did that in the modding days though.
Sniper gun becomes really strong with pierce or ricochet. Without them it is kinda meh in my experience
I'd love to see Nova Drift! I think other fans would enjoy a very different flavor of roguelike.
Edit: I'm sure I'll get my fix when new updates drop.
