dogs are good. They can show you where they are. HOWEVER, some handlers retain dogs or dogs can show bugs that are either NOT active anymore and no threat OR MISS them totally, all which result in wrong readings. I know a home that treated and thought they were gone. Dog came in and no bugs, only the following week their place was bursting with bedbugs again... clearly were there. OR another dog that signaled treat when there was none. So, although most work well, clearly that can be a miss too. ONE of the MAIN ISSUES apartment and lower income have is the HIGH COST of marketplace in prevention items such as bed and couch leg trays, mattress bed bug covers. By the time one does prevention, that makes a big difference, it cost them too much from a small income so they end up NOT doing it. Public housing needs to look into ways that offer tenants low cost prevention!
Some large property companies/ Landlords should stop being cheap and treat the issue early as well as hold tenants . accountable John Stewart property management should take it's problem with Bedbugs more serious and stop hiring low end pest control companies or drug addicts!! the tax credits they receive should cover pest control and more.
You're naivety is cute. God bless ya! Just don't leave a spot in the tub, or the landlord will keep all of your "security deposit" (which should be renamed and extra month's rent or free money) for the landlord.
Airbnb and the people benefiting from it don't report it to the condo Strato or management because they don't want to lose money with downtime. They do what is quick, easy and cheap.
Cimexa is better. I use the traps (climb up interceptors) on the legs of my bed, put a little Cimexa in them, completely isolate the bed from anything else (well away from walls, and other furniture, nothing stored under the bed, no sheets/blankets that drag on the floor, no electronics in bed, not even the TV remote, don’t sit on the bed with street clothes on, etc.) You need to make the legs of the bed the only possible way for them to get to you, then trap and kill them. By depriving them of their food, you deprive them of their ability to breed (they can’t breed if they don’t feed). This solves 99% of the problem, and they will never become a serious problem. But it’s inconvenient and people don’t want to do it. They’d rather be exposed to toxic chemical sprays, which don’t even work well.
I think German cockroaches are harder to get rid of. I now integrate proactive measures for both bugs. I wish Jeff would discuss German cockroaches in his teaching.
For "low level" inspection use white sheets and pillow cases and inspect every morning for black spots

Night night don't let the bedbugs bite

This almost as bad as the place where I lived once. My bed was almost covered in feces. Yuck.
Diatomaceous Earth
Does NOT work. There are scientific studies that prove they multiply too quickly for DE alone to treat.

Bwahahaahaha...it'll never happen with attached dwellings. Forget it. If you're a tenant - move!
That guys is really pigeon-toed !!
