    Very informative video!
    And great research on the subject.
    I have seen old film of men going down robinsons shaft before,
    But never seen film of the concrete enginehouse of new cooks kitchen working before! Wonderful 👍

    I really enjoyed that, thank you. I've been to Grass valley, but I also went to Moonta, Wallaroo and Kadina too. Burra and Kapunda was another two in Australia I happened to visit. I remember being in a bar on Argent street in Broken hill drinking with some retired miners in their 70s, they spoke with obvious strong Australian accents but their dialect was pure Cornish. The greatest mining race in the world, what an achievement.
