What are your 3 favorite Gorillaz songs? Mine are
3. Rhinestone Eyes
2. Momentz
1. Dirty Harry
Right now, it's Rhinestone Eyes, Momentz and She's My Collar. Honorable mention to Broken
3 - re-hash, it just sounds like an acid trip and I think that’s cool
2 - simplicity, I love the way that Damon and Joan work together and they complement each other vocally and musically very well
1 - (don’t judge me for this one) Clint eastwood, I know it’s overplayed but I think it’s such a genius idea for a song and the way that song makes use of different types of instruments like melodicas and melotrons
This is so beautiful! You completely nailed it!
Him: I listened to gorillaz all this week
Me: bro I do that every week lol
Hell yeah! I gotta change it up, but I always come back to Gorillaz. Never fails me.

I love the chill way you sing this. Great song! Very reminiscent of Gorillaz.
Wow this is probably my fav vid from you. Thank for telling us about gorillaz. Didn’t know there were so many musicians behind gorillaz. Yip west world is awesome. Awesome original song!!!
Wow Ben! You blew this ole'country boy's mind. Your song is uniquely great. I don't get the opportunity to stop by often, but have always enjoyed your channel. So much talent and so entertaining. That scratching the bass string was ingenious.
Very creative, Ben. That effect you got scratching the bass strings was cool!
Fantastic as always Ben!
That rap verse is outstanding! Nailed it!
Omg the song is so good, it sounds like something that i would hear out of the D-Sides. Good job!!!
Your channel is great, keep it going. Interesting idea!
I zoned out and forgot I wasn't listening to Gorillaz. What a dope song!😄

Perfect
Awesome video, awesome song.
wow it's so underrated thank you!
How do you get that vocal effect like 2D has? Like he’s speaking into an old radio 🤙🏾
The ehehehehe part made me cringe, but other than that its good
Thanks for the comment. I took a lot of sonic inspiration from the song, "Sound Check (Gravity)".
The first Gorillaz album is my favorite. Love all their albums.
"Gravity-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh"
Ben Aaron hope youre not offended by my comment, my favourite albums are the first one and plastic Beach. Sound check in the first album is one of my favourites and Damons ehehehehe is not bothering me, i Just dont know what didnt click with me with yours
fandoms are life | it is probably because the echo plays off of the falsetto in Soundcheck with a contextual space built up by the acoustic guitar and crickets. Usually, context behind the song changes a lot of preferences. Here, we know that Ben was purposely doing it; so, the forced nature of it made it cringe. For me, for example, it took a second listen on both songs to get used to it since I began to omit the context.
Great hook, Ben. Only 2 lines and combined with the out of place E Major - I think we've got a hit song here! :)
Thank you, Brad. I like writing those out of place chords. They really make the song memorable. Have a great day.
Didn’t see this comin!
Hi Ben I had an idea to recreate another version of this song sampled and inspired by u using this song just wanted to ask for permission btw just for fun I want this to have more attention this deserves way more attention then it has this is good pure gold I’ll credit u and everything
My favorite is last living souls
Different then most of your other work, but great nonetheless. Looking forward to the next video.
As a true blue Gorillaz fan I can say you kinda nailed that 7.8 out of 10
How can ı find the chords maan ?!?
I have heard the name but not sure am familiar with their music. your original was cool
Damon albarn has like 4 bands including his solo career think you might find something you like from at least one of them
This is a b o p
Is this on Spotify cause it do slap
NAILED IT!!! I say this cause im a g-fan :'D
Oh my god that sound exactly like 2D
Do they still make music?
Oh, yeah. Check out the Gorillaz UA-cam page. They're making songs weekly as of writing this. Brilliant stuff.
I say the lyrics and the voice need some work. Lyrics need to be less obvious, and the voice should be a little more chill. Otherwise, amazing work.
Hey it's me Dominic the one that made that song remix with you I had to restart

Gorillaz is really a way for Damon to declare proudly that he likes hip-hop. He always had, even before Blur.
I definitely agree with you. I think he needed an outlet for his love of hip-hop. A new band and clean slate to play a different style of music. It worked out really well for him. It could have been a flop, but those hit songs are undeniably good.
