Rob Paulsen and Sean Astin, they're MY favorite Raphaels without a doubt!
Fun fact: Raphael is the only turtle who hasn't yet been voiced by Yuri Lowenthal.
I'd say my favorite Raph voices are Nolan North, Greg Abbey, and Sean Astin.
I love how this voice actors really very amazing, Brady Noon.
Yes he was brady noon the whole cast did a great job
Awesome TMNT voice actors!
They're incredible voicing the turtles!
@@mayracordero382 awesome!
3:25 - Now that’s a meme.!.!
Greg Abby and Sean Astin are my favorite voice actors for Raphael
They're my favorite voice actors as raphael too.
Mine too

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991)
In terms of voice, actors who voice Raphael, that I recognize it would have to be Rob Paulsen ( Who cannot go wrong with this guy? He's amazing) Sean Astin, Alan Richson, Omar Benson Miller and Brandy Noon. All of them did an excellent job of the Raphael from the TMNT franchise.
NY accent Raph is the best version of Raph....it really fleshes his personality and character out more as opposed to the late 80s cartoon version where he comes off more on the sarcastic side....his accent from 1990 forward really toughened him up
I love rob paulsen and sean astin as the voices of raphael!
90s movie Raph and 2003 Raph are my personal favorites. Nothing screams Raphael like a gruff, sardonic, New York accent
Raph's definitely at his best when he has the NY accent. The first two movies, 03, and 2007 movie are where his voice peaked for me.
7:28 Sean Astin as Raph voice is pretty much described as the angry, gruff and grouchy as a typical teen. He has voiced Chester the cat in the series Bunnicula and just like the turtle he too can let out some anger and authoritative to Harold the dog and Bunnicula.
8:24 Alan Ritchson as Raph's voice is much deeper and older.
Top 11 Raphael voice actors:
1. Rob Paulsen (1987 Series)
2. Sean Astin (2012 series)
3. Omar Benson Miller (Rise of the TMNT)
4. Greg Abbey (2003 Series)
5. Josh Pais (TMNT 1990 movie)
6. Nolan North (2007 movie)
7. Darren Chriss (Batman vs. TMNT)
8. Brady Noon (Mutant Mayham)
9. Alan Ritchson (Michael Bay movies)
10. Laurie Faso (TMNT 2 Secret of the Ooze)
11. Tim Kelleher (TMNT 3)
That's so cool
Man. Sebastian Arcelus does a near perfect impression of good ol Rob.
Rob Paulsen, Greg Abbey, Sebastian Arcelus, and Sean Astin are my faves
Yo how has so few ppl find this
Considering Raph had 3 understudy voice actors in the 80's cartoon, I find it funny the ONLY one that even remotely sounded like Ron Paulsen was the guy who played him in TMNT Forever. Hal sounded closer to Donatello, if anything.
My top 3 are Rob(#1), Omar(#2), and Sean(#3). Rob is the OG, Omar’s voice is soothing to me for some reason, and I can’t help but love Sean’s voice as Raph!
Both Rob Paulsen and Sean Astin did so great voice Raphael or Raph
Greg Abbey(2003 ver.)
Sean Astin(2012ver.)
Omar Benson Miller(Rise ver.)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993)
Hey you had gotten the movies mixed up. Laurie Faso voiced Raphael in TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze while Tim Kelleher voiced him in TMNT III: Turtles in Time.
Here are my favorite Raph voice actors:
Sean Astin
Greg Abbey
Nolan North
Fun fact rob reprised his voice as raphael in some nickolodeon games.
coool
Do you think you could do an episode on Maxwell goof, the on and off son of goofy?
Are you gonna do the Garfield Cartoon Evolution next since the Movie is coming out soon?
Yes, announced it earlier in the year. Working on it as we speak!
6:54 Sean Schemmel??? As in the VA for Son Goku from Dragon Ball??? I'm pretty surprised about that!!!
3:24 Theme song reference!!!
Rob Paulsen Tim Kelleher Laurie Faso Josh Pais
Bradley noon did a great job as my boy raph 😎
A MISSED opportunity to have Greg Abbey & the rest of the 2003 Turtles VAs to appear in the 2012 cartoon & a MISSED opportunity to have Rob Paulsen play a former hot headed character that the 2003 Ralph could relate to & help Ralph to calm down with his hot headedness.
Please do the voice evolution of Droopy Dog next since it’s been a very long time since you made that evolution of his appearance.
Sorry, no plans for Droopy Voice Evolution.
My Ideas For The New Dave Lee Down Under Videos:Evolution Of Garfield,Evolution Of Pink Panther,Evolution Of Mickey Mouse And Friends,Evolution Of Looney Tunes.
Um Mickey Mouse and friends already have the evolution so does the looney tunes Pink panther and Garfield are the ones that don’t have that yet
@@normanmccultureboy6492 Yes
@@reemakang3406 which mean you should’ve add just Garfield and Pink Panther
My top three are Greg, Omar and Sean.
Darren Criss did his best as Rapheal he need more attention as rapheal in future project
One more notable Raph voice actor you missed was Sean Schemmel, the voice of Goku from DBZ.
Didn’t miss him - he’s at 06:50.
@@DaveLeeDownUnder I meant among the list of notable names you identified (and yes, I know you didn't name all of them before you began. I just felt the va of Goku is worth verbally mentioning).
Rob Paulsen
Sean Astin is John Astin's son
Rob Paulsen is the best voice of Raph
No disrespect to Rob Paulsen, one of my favorite voice actors, or the fans of the original series, but I found Rob's take for Raph to be the most unfitting.
30 seconds later: But then again, that version was pretty toned down compared to more modern versions of him. So I guess having Rob voice this version would be a good match.
Raphael
Please do evolution of Panchito Pistoles
There is no story to tell with Panchito. He was quickly whipped up as a “Mexican José”. I have no plans to cover him.
@@DaveLeeDownUnder aww that's a shame
Say what you will about the others but Greg abbey did the New York accent the best out of any raph.
Looks like you swapped the names for the second and 3rd turtles films...
Anyway, Greg Abbey will always have a special place in my heart as my Raphael and as time goes on he gets more overlooked because of the franchise not returning to the '03 series (they basically ignored its 20th anniversary last year outside of releasing the series...on DVD...in 2023...). The others aren't bad, at least the main ones used in the shows (even if I don't love 87 version of the character because he doesn't have the aggression of the other version, Rob worked for what they did) I'd say after Greg I'll go Nolan, Sean, Josh, Darren, then Alan as my top 6.
People have been begging for a box set for years, so that was a given, and they put skins of the 03 versions in Shredder's Revenge (alongside others of course). Plus, they announced collector grade figures for that show that are in production from Super 7, in addition to the reissues of the original Playmates figures for that show that got released late last year/early this year (that are practically impossible to find even though I did manage to grab them). I used to wish they'd do more a couple years ago, but they've done a lot more for this show lately than people seem to realize, especially compared to most of the 2010s where it just felt like no one even knew it existed because they wouldn't mention it in favor of the original cartoon. This isn't even mentioning the 87 TMNT comic that's gonna feature one turtle from each subsequent cartoon in a big crossover, plus I think there's a comic they're making that's getting a variant cover done in the 2003 series artstyle. Trust me, I want them to get some push too (still waiting for a collection of the 03 era games since Konami planted the seeds already), but they've still done a lot over the last year or so.
@@LeopoldLitchenstein I don't really think the skins for Shredder's revenge count, the '03 turtles colors where based off of skin colors used in the Konami games and I believe the archie books to make them more distinct, so its more a reference to the older Konami skins I feel. The Super 7 thing I missed, I genuinely never saw an announcement, but even then, they didn't line up the deal with the anniversary which was the problem, like Viacom forgot about it until the last minute. My problem is moreso that I see them do stuff...NOW, just not when it actually happened, like doing an IDW comic one-shot for example which wouldn't have taken too much time to get out last year. There appears to be one coming for the 40th anniversary of the franchise this year at least.
Nick used to rerun the 2K3 series during the beginning of their 2012 series launch, and the first TMNT product they released on home video was the Forever movie (the TV edit). And they are planning to release a 2K3 series based comic book at some point. Once they bought Mirage from Laird, they did gain complete ownership of the 2K3 series, while Fred Wolf was sitting on the rights to the 80's series. Nick could make merchandise, but didn't get the distribution rights until recently, but they always put the 80's Turtles out in merchandising.
@AussieDragoon I'm in the camp of better late than never, honestly, so I'll take what we've been getting even if it's late, especially if it means it comes out better quality wise (and with Super 7, since I've heard their figures tend to have QC issues, I'd rather wait and see there). And I get what you mean by the comic style skins from the old games, but the skins in Shredder's Revenge have the colored bands on their weapons, so I'd say they are meant to be 2003 skins for them (especially for Casey, April, Karai, and Splinter, where the same slot for the skins on the Turtles corresponds to their designs from that show). Plus they added skins from the Nick shows as well for every Turtle, I think they were meant to be 03 based skins
@@mightyfilm Did they? I must have missed that. I know they aired it on Nicktoons at some point
