I remember seeing this back when it came out, and thinking it would make a fantastic setting for an official game. Glad we got something so similar with Security Breach, it's super cool seeing a free-roam FNAF with the mobile camera and everything :D

Five Nights at Freddy's 3: Reminiscence
Game Mechanics:
-At the start, you're provided a flashlight and a phone, both with limited power.
-the building is randomly generated, containing multiple party rooms as filler, and only one of specific rooms such as the office, and include a mish-mash of rooms from both previous games.
-Once accessing the hack code, the phone can be used to keep an eye on activity in other rooms and warn you of approaching animatronics. Audio cues can also be detected, and are specific to each animatronic.
Here and there you can collect things like:
-The hack code for accessing wireless connection to the cameras
-Batteries for your phone/flashlight
-An empty freddy suit to wear around
-old recordings from previous employees to explain the backstory of the place
-an old music box
Animatronics:
-The Original Four _or_ the Toy Cast (Bonnie 2.0, Freddy 2.0, and Chica 2.0), depending on what level of difficulty you choose, the Toys being the easier ones. The major difference between these two settings is that Foxy is present in the Original Four, but the Toy Cast's Foxy is Mangle, so there's only 1 odd-behaving animatronics in the easier setting.
-Mangle is always there, either difficulty, but cannot be seen by the cameras. He's cued when either a screen goes fuzzy, or metal scuffling is heard from an adjacent room.
-Marionette is a hallucination, so he's not necessarily a threat, but as mentioned earlier, can inadvertently kill you by being one. He's also triggered through winding the music box, but appears only as a figure that will follow you around in any room until the music box stops, and then disappears, often with a cryptic message. Winding the box while wearing the suit is an instant death.
-Balloon Boy isn't obviously sentient, but is more like a haunted doll; it will change position around the building, but ignore you, and talk occasionally if you have the suit on.
-Golden Freddy is the suit you find and wear. It fools the animatronics-well, most of them-however wearing the suit for too long can cause "hallucinations" of the purple man, Marionette, and rare flashbacks of the killings, eventually leading to death, and the costume makes you move slower. Marionette, Mangle, and Foxy, under certain circumstances, aren't fooled by this costume. In the cases of Mangle and Foxy, you have to be _absolutely still_ when they enter the same room, otherwise they'll realize you're not an empty costume. It's a good idea to keep this in mind when around the other animatronics too, but so long as you keep your distance, you're fine. It's supposed that Balloon Boy knows as well, as suggested by his dialogue when you're in the costume, but does not behave differently.
-The Easter Egg Animatronics, including the shadows and Endoskeleton, will either appear on a poster or in the room at random. Chances are higher when the suit is worn.
The story: You're a policeman/detective who's trying to find the man responsible for the killings after he disappeared into the building. Unfortunately, the only stable entrance was cut off by a triggered booby trap, so you have to wait until help arrives. It takes *five* days for anyone to get to *the old Freddy Restaurant,* so you're stuck trying to *hide* from the deranged killer, *and much more* as you come to realize.

That is really good but you could add more nights and maybe even an infinite mode. Like for the extra nights when help comes the anamatronics kill them and once you finish the two or one extra nights you get the infinite mode and custom night.

coming back to this after Security break release is actually wild because you pretty much hit the mark with a five nights at freddie’s mall that you can walk around and you have to survive until the times up, pretty much the only difference albeit major is that the mall isn’t abandoned.
That game was pretty bad to be honest. If they wanted to make a free roam FNaF game, they should have done it like Nikson's Joy of Creation: Reborn

This is such a beautiful relic, as so many people fell for it (including me) and it literally uses the old fan made models. Also it really captivated how fast FNAF was growing, since this was released only a week after FNAF2 launched and by then most people (again including me) already beat the game.

Eean Antonius I thought that FNAF3 must bring us something new. First it must be much larger location like carnival or mall. Second it will be boring just to sit on one place for third time, so player must walk and hide from animatronics watching them through phone. But this is only my vision of future game and I don't consider it an ideal:)

Crappy Food that gives you diarrhea Yes, I am aware the full game is out. I played it and it really exceeded my expectations. However, I wasn't impressed with the trailer or the steam greenlight page, so my impression of the game prior to the release wasn't really a good one. Please take note of the day the original comment was posted (Febuary 22nd) and the fact that it was posted before the release date. My opinion of the game has changed, I was wrong.

My idea for FNAFIII
You are a detective and have heard about the murders of the five children and you start to investigate the Pizzeria.
Night 1: You snuck inside the pizzeria for clues about the murder but have to get out before 6AM or people will get suspicious. You search the Animatronics to see if they have anything on them, you see a handprint on Freddy's face and the smell of guts and blood, you continue to search. Once you stumble upon the Office, you get visions of a yellow bear in front of you.
Can't make up the rest :P

Night 2: After receiving the strange hallucinations, along with the hand print and blood, you decide to further investigate, despite the problems that may arise. How will you survive?

Killer Leo Night 4: You continue into the secret passage and find 5 dead kids in a suit, you investigate further more and find a destroyed and rotten version of the new animatronics, and then you find the old animatronics rotten and destroyed too, you thought someone was in the hallway, but no one, then the old animatronics body's dissapear, the screen fades black and shows what time it is, you have to run out of the mall to avoid suspicon, while trying to run you trip over golden freddy, golden freddy then chases you and foxy runs as fast he can to stuff you in a suit. you escape from the window and still after a whole night of horror, he comes back.

Macinite ᵐᵒᵗᶤᵒᶰ ᵈᵉˢᶤᵍᶰ Oh,most definitely,but it will NEED to have as much hype and anticipation of Scott's first two games of the FNAF series.If people will ponder whether it'll be like the first two games(sitting in a chair,looking at camera views,watching over the animatronics,repitition,etc).If it indeed will be identical or similar to the first two games,just pretty much refined and retouched.It will most likely be claimed as lazy,overdone,and such and such.It will need to be delivered by UA-camrs to give publicity,and "fame" to the game.
Five Nights at Freddy's is a popular name.Just needs to be redone and give it another little teenie weenie little differential mechanics and different gameplay,otherwise it will just be another couple dollars for the same game,overall just updated.
I remembered when my friends showed me this trailer and said this was the official trailer for the 3rd game and I believed him at the time, and now Scott is actually doing something similar to this. Weird right?

I have an idea for story and gameplay.
Night 1: Phone guy: Hello? Hello? Hey there! Sorry I couldn't be there for your interview. But hey, times are tuff. And you'll do anything. And I mean ANYTHING To keep your job. So infront of you is a desk. It has a music-box. You're probably wondering why. You know the animatronics seen in the commercials? Bonnie, Foxy, and Freddy. They tend to walk around the mall...If it gets quiet then they'll think there's no audience to entertain so they'll come into you're room. And uhhh.... stuff you forcibly into a suit. But hey, incase you see one down the hall from you, or in the two doors to you're sides, then pull out the power-killer gun from your desk. Aim it at one animatronic to shut them down. Erm... there's a chance that some of the animatronics won't be slowed down though because of this ONE little tiny conspiracy. And if you're wearing purple like our uniform suggests, then becareful. I'll let you in on a little secret. There's a rumor that a purpleman led 5 kids to the back of the resturant and stuff them. But rumors can't be true right? I'll leave you to it *end* *of* *phone* *call*

Honestly as much as this game would be great, walking would take away the main concept of horror in this series, which is sitting still while you want to move but you can't. Walking would take that anxiety (that the first two gave us) away and just make the game into a jumpscare game with just more difficulty. I like the concept, just not for a FNAF, ya feel?

Okay a few issues with this.. 1. Five nights Freddy's is really special because in normal horror games your forced to run away from your enemy, in fnaf your forced to sit still and face your fears. 2. So how did a small budget pizza place with 4 animatronics get a gigantic shopping mall. 3. This is a wonderful animation though and really well done.

Cyber netas The story of FNaF is a kid having nightmares, this could've easily fit in. it didn't because, well, Scott isn't a very good programmer. FNaF was made in click team fusion 2.4 using visual scripting. Possibly the dumbest game engine on earth, and a programming system designed for beginners. That is why fnaf was never 3d

When you realize the concept of this idea actually aged like fine wine considering the concept of the pizza plex in security breach
I thought this was real when I was younger.
FNaF 3 idea:
Instead of a pizza place, it is a Bowling ally called Fredbears bowler. It has 2 party rooms, and 2 stages. 1 stage has new animatronics: Coco the bird, Meow the tiger, Ratty the Rat, and Sock the monkey. the other stage has the original animatronics. but has 2 new ones: Candy the Kitty, and Woofey the wolf. there are 5 camera's. and the door is a lazer cage door, keeping it closed to long or use it to much will make it not work. there is a shed out side with the animatronics from FNaF 2 but there dismantled (cuz FNaF 3 takes place 30 yrs later) and balloon boy has a slow laugh. he also has a jumpscare. there is a flash light, and there is a Purple Guy mask. it won't work on the new animatronics, but will on the old ones. there is a secret animatronic: Golden Toy Bonnie. to make him pop up you must type Golden Toy Bonnie and hit ENTER. also the bowling ally has Pizza. also, Purple Guy is in the game, but he is a hallucination. He has 90% chance of killing you. also, the dead children ghost pop up and laugh. then fade away.
AND LASER TAG AND THEIRS A SECRET GAME MODE CALLED LASER TAG AND YOU HAVE TO PLAY LASER TAG WITH THE ANAMATRONICS TO NOT DIE
I think Scott Cawthon is going backwards in the FNaF timeline. So it's probably going to be the Freddie Fazzbear's Pizza that was referred to by the phone guy to being, "-left to rot"

if someone did actually make a fan game of fnaf or a actual 3rd sequel where to come out i think this is how the story should go. anyways consider this a fan story as to why your wondering around in a abandoned mall with murderous mechanical animals.
the story:
*cellphone rings and picks up* phone guy: uh hello hello look uh i wanna thank you for investigating the mall. i know you wanna get on with your investigation for your article so ive handed you the keys to the first floor unfortunately i lost the keys to the rest of the floors before the place closed down youll have to find them on your own. oh uh you may have heard a rumor that i was killed in that old pizzeria let me tell you thats false as it turned out i managed to find a old freddy fazbear mask under my desk and put it on before . . . well anyways i wonder who put it there?
so there are some details you need to know for your investigation the mall was actually built on the grounds of the first pizzeria the strangest thing happened before we closed it down though a sink hole of all things opened up and swallowed it in thankfully no one was inside at the time except for one guy who worked the night shift as a security guard we tryed looking for the guy but when we went to search the hole the place was just gone its a mystery even to this day we believe though it was burried when the sink hole opened but we havnt been able to find any rubble. so afterwards we filled the sinkhole in and built a second pizzaria unfortunately that place got shut down too after multiple rumors of the mechanical animals being possessed and killing workers at night and multiple complaints as well as a lawsuit arose.
the mall got built around the pizzeria it was easier to build around the place then to tear it down and more cost effective plus why waste a perfectly good plot of land know what i mean? soon after the mall was built we boarded off the old pizzeria to keep the visitors from wandering in. it always gave the construction workers the creeps just from looking at it though. about a couple of weeks after the mall was opened we received complaints of people hearing ghost like screaming and demonic voices as well as hallucinating various images whenever they where near the old pizzeria but when we went to check on it we found nothing. eventually we sent in a ghost hunter team to investigate but they went missing during their investigation. after multiple lawsuits from their respective familys and a investigation from the police the mall was forced to close down.
oh a few more things we did receive some strange reports from customers they believed that the mall changed its layout from time to time they claimed rooms werent where they were suppose to be and various shelves and other such things would be in random places. the place seemed to be fine when we looked at it though.
when we supposedly lost the original cast of mechanical animals we had to get some new ones the new cast consist of randy the racoon (looks like a racoon with a banjo) wilfo the buccaneer (looks like a pirate wolf) danny the lizard (pretty self explanatory) and freddy fazbear oh and we still have that old yellow freddy suit around somewhere we had to clean it out multiple times but we used it to entertain the children whenever they came.
in case the mechanical animals give you any trouble during your investigation there should be a water pistol in my office we confiscated it from some punk who thought it was cute to short circuit our mechanical animals unfortunately when he shorted them out it must have whiped out their programming or something if you use it on the animals it should buy you enough time to run and hide. funny thing is the night guard who was stationed at the time their program was whiped went missing. in any case youll also find the password to activate the cameras im my office as well and you can tie it into your cellphone oh that old freddy fazbear mask should be somewhere around in the mall if you can find it you should be able to use it to fool the mechanical animals into thinking your one of them it doesnt seem to work on freddy though. oh one last thing this is just a suggestion dont go near that old pizzeria we wouldnt want another missing investigator.

well randy the racoon is a bit different from the other mechanical toons. if he happens to find you theres a 80/20% chance hell either help you find the nearest guard station or hell glitch out and kill you. as hes wondering the mall looking for people he plays that eerie theme (you know the one that plays when your about to be killed by freddy when the powers out) if he does help you theres a high chance his music will attract the other toons to your location if you follow him theres also a very rare occasion he might lead you to golden freddy.
wilfo the wolf unlike her fox counterpart loves being watched if you happen to spot her on camera she will move to another room gradually getting closer to your current position until she can chase you down shes got some strange software that locks her parts up when no ones looking at her.
danny the lizard is always on a set patrol path and will never deviate from it unless he happens to spot you or if he is allured by randys music.
freddy of course is a rouge element he will randomly appear in various positions he mostly sticks around the entrance to the old pizzeria though you can tell if hes near you because youll be able to hear inaudible creepy whispering from a specific direction.
golden freddy= instant death it doesnt matter what tools you have what tactics you use to see him means death of course hes very secluded and only appears occasionally.
if i were making this thats how id do the mechanics of the toons.

I came back to this because i remember seeing this and thinking it was such a good idea for a fnaf game and even showed it to my friends which at the time we were huge fan of the game and always followed fnaf related content. Now that fnaf got big and actually made the same concept as this being the security breach, i remembered this and thought it was some fever dream but it was real. Thanks for the nostalgia!

No it isnt, well yes, FNAF 3 exists, but not this version.
It should be like cutscenes before each night were your looking at your computer looking at photo's of each section of the mall then you go to that section and you have to check every room before 6 A.M and you can hide in closets and lockers if there's a warning sign on your phone saying like a "Magnetic Force is Near By" but if you don't get to the hiding place in time for them to see you get in there they will kill you.
When I mean sections I mean like the mall is really big and you can only do a section per night.
That's my opinion of how this game should be made.
I think that the story line should be like.
Before Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria it was a stage in the mall and kids loved the place then a hacker broke the circuit and made the robots ultimate killing machines and then a big rampage of the robots was made.
So you decided that since the new Pizzeria was being made you should investigate the mall and prove the jury that the owner cannot make this place so that there couldn't be anymore killing's.
But in the end the jury think that it's just a fake film and that they let the owner create the Pizzeria.
