Then for him to learn a second language with a completely different cultural background and a more limited vocabulary is incredibly impressive. The same reason singers that are famous in other countries that don’t speak English don’t usually learn English and then become huge in the United States. It is beyond difficult to express yourself in the same way in a secondary language.
@@agoogleuser7784 I gotta say, his English comedy is actually quite similiar to the jokes in Estonian. It's just that they are funny, which is why they land in English as well. Since for me, looking at other American standups at Kill Tony, the jokes were lame and with really obvious and cheesy punchlines, yet all americans chuckled. But when Ari Matti says some funny shit, it's not often obvious, yet really striking. I actually laugh out loud as an Estonian (autist nation socially)
Please more English stand up and if you can stop speaking this other language entirely that would be nice and when will you be in chicago so i can see your show
