- Elliot Mintz first came to national attention for his close ties to John Lennon and Yoko Ono throughout the 1970s and for his continued presence as a media consultant for Yoko following John’s murder. But before that, he was a college student who broke big news about Lee Harvey Oswald the day of the JFK assassination and went on to a storied career as a broadcast journalist and celebrity media consultant.

According to many sources John Lennon didn't like Elliot Mintz very much. He was really one of Yoko's gay cronies and not a good friend of John's.
He strikes me as a career ligger, way too satisfied with himself, what is he actually famous for? Knowing the famous? Whenever I hear the term 'fart-sniffer' I immediately think of Mintz

I find Elliot fascinating, probably because at first I saw mostly the form of the delivery which seemed pompous and even slightly sordid and lame
