I was first surprised to see that the Platinum box didn't have any bonus packs. But since two of them are from products that pack prices have skyrocketed it wasn't shocking. My subscription boxes appear to have been slightly better than yours this month. I enjoy opening these subscription boxes with random packs.
Just saw that Bedards Young Guns canvas will be in the Extended series 2023-24 set. Just like what they did with Mcdavid so they can make more sales and money.
why do you chirp hot magmas? a /499 insert barely even dilutes the platinum product when you consider how much of every product UD is printing. platinum rookies are one of the true rookies in the hobby, and are starting to get the respect they deserve, and when you consider that young guns are printed in the hundreds of thousands (or more?), suddenly having a hot magmas of a top rookie (or any rookie) seems pretty nice. id rather a /499 platinum magma of cole caufield than his base young guns for example, both are around $100., one is limited to 499 cards and the other is printed into oblivion...
Go watch my case finale. They dilute the crap out of the product and are just lazy. The aquamarines /499 from 20-21 just copied and pasted an image off google.
@@zeeree11 i have watched it. magmas aren't the reason for the large print run, theyre a symptom. the print run was going to be ridiculous regardless, like every other product currently (as i mentioned). stop acting like the print run would be smaller, or that youd have a better chance of hitting a lower numbered card if the magmas didnt exist. that's not how it works lol. if the magmas or the (former)aquas didnt exist, UD would have just packed the set with other garbage instead. a /499 marquee isn't a bad addition if those are our options, and theyre nicer and more scarce than young guns like i mentioned. the magma caufield is a nice looking colour-matched card for example. not sure how you cant like that card objectively. btw the aquas looked nice despite the use of the stock photo. i like them. the only person ive heard chirp them is you.

I bought myself a box, only hit was 2014-2015 SP Limited signed Bobby Orr, would never buy again because of Duty fee though.

There was no extended series when Mcdavid was a rookie, nice try though
@@brentnyeste2949 He just meant that they split his YG and YGC in S1 and S2, just like now when Bedards YG will be in S2 and his YGC in Extended.
