THE TRUTH that most wouldn't want to hear, and even if they hear, they might not understand as their ears are deaf for the things of truth. Thanks Man of GOD for teaching this truth. Signs and wonders does not signifies that one is doing the will of God, sign and wonders are for unbelievers. The men of gods are being followed by unbelievers as they are being attracted to them by their miracle money to believe in gods!!!
You said at the end of this sermon that righteousness comes through obedience of the word, I cannot find this verse in the Bible. However I find the verse saying that righteousness was acredited by faith and not by works at all, from Romans 4 all the way back to the father of all faith Abraham in Genesis 15:6. Romans 11:32 also would be a point to make. I am not trying to debate, but seeking understanding. I am being like the Bereans. The statement "righteousness comes through obedience"... I cannot find it. However, Romans 5:12-21 (1221=ABBA) says our righteousness comes through the obedience of Jesus Christ only. Help me if I am misunderstanding, please.
Good morning from my understanding as we feed on more of these sermons with the help of the holy spirit you'll find Jesus Christ and the word are one;He is the very word Himself that became flesh read John 1:1 and Revelations 19:13 so Romans 5:19 by saying through obidience of one man who is Jesus Christ (who will know is the word) many will be made righteous meaning we become righteous as we obey Him Jesus Christ (The word)and obidience is an act of faith with us demonstrating our belief and trust in the unseen God.Also Jesus Christ is the culmination ,the end of the law so that they may be righteousness for everyone who believes(Romans 10:1) Stay blessed
Obedience is an act of faith. We are made righteous through faith in the finished work of the Cross. It is acredited to us not by our own power but the corresponding power of God. That's a good way to put it. God bless you too.
Okay I found where he is going by this... James chapter 2. All I can say is how I understand it is that just as there is a spirit of disobedience that "forces" disobedience, there is a spirit of God which causes obedience. It becomes pleasing to yourself to be obedient, whereas you never felt that before a born again experience. Because that's what we are really dealing with in this world right? Forces... "the Wind". Solomon said "no man has power over the wind and no man has power over the time of their own death". James said no man has power over the tongue, every animal on earth has been tamed by man but the tongue cannot be tamed, it is full of poison. This is really a thinker eh? I can only think of one Man that had Power over the wind and the tongue... Jesus Christ. (random thought concerning the comment about houses and cars... worldly things... when Jesus was speaking about many mansions in John 14 was it a metaphor? or was it literal? I can't seem to find an explanation. Solomon was the richest man on the earth in his day and blessed with much and it was God's blessing. I have soo many questions when it comes to this kind of thing. Here's my BIGGEST question, if I got to have one question answered I would ask this... How can free will and predestination both exist at the same time? I call it the unanswerable question. John 9:1-3)
Heyy my brother I would like to help he is right obedience purduces righteousness because the orgin of Faith is action. an when we realize that action is acting upon the word of God (which show you have Faith) that is Faith an truth Faith bring forth obedience an obedience bring forth righteousness because obedience can only be produce by believeing in the word from your spirit then your spirit will act upon that which you believe
